The Body Shop Tea Tree Face Mask
I have always heard about all the goodness that tea essence can bring. So I really wanted to love this product, but unfortunately I didn't. In fact, the whole line doesn't work for me. Even though it is supposed to calm the skin and fade blemishes... +
I have always heard about all the goodness that tea essence can bring. So I really wanted to love this product, but unfortunately I didn't. In fact, the whole line doesn't work for me. Even though it is supposed to calm the skin and fade blemishes, it did none of that. In fact, it made my skin looks red afterward (kinda like allergy or rash without the itchy part). But I guess it is just that my skin is not compatible with it.

This is quite a decent product. It gives decent coverage. It is easy to spread around. However, I figured that it was too light for my skin, so it doesn't exactly look natural. Also, it kind of dries my skin out a bit after application even when I applied light moisturizer beforehand.
One thing that I did notice is that after I wash it off, my skin tone seems more even and bright and smooth all over.

At first, I didn't really care much for it because the idea of a water lotion does not appear to work for me (I'm kinda biased at this point, because I prefer creamy texture lotion). I was wrong. So there was that one period of time when I ran out of moisturizer (the creamy type) and my skin was acting up, being super duper dry. So I desperately used this with the hope that it would do something to my skin. Turned out that it completely diminish the dry patches and made my skin so soft and supple and hydrated. Also, the watery texture makes it so quick to absorb into the skin. -

I purchased this cleanser without doing any sort of research about it beforehand. Fortunately, it turns out to be a very nice product. After I cleanse my face with this cleanser, I can definitely feel that my face is deep pore clean. However, afterward I had to slap some moisturizer on because it tends to be just a bit drying (it gives you that tight feeling). Oh, but it definitely calm the redness from acne from my face, so that's a plus. -
