The Real Techniques Core Collection is a great little set! If you are just starting out with eye makeup or not looking to spend a fortune the Real Techniques Core Collection is great! I bought mine almost a year ago and use the brushes daily for my eyes and eyebrows. They are soft and work amazingly, I am super impressed with the quality and how long they are holding up. As long as you take good care of them and wash them when needed they should last you years. -

There seems to be a lot of mixed reviews regarding the Maybelline New York Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser! There are some cons to this product but some major pros as well.
First of all, it is extremely inexpensive and can be used as a primer, primers are usually so expensive that I don't use one at all most of the time as I cant justify spending all that money on a small tube of primer. The Maybelline New York Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser is extremely cheap and can often be found on sale at major drugstores as well. It does work as a primer, yes it is silicone-y and can also be over powering on your face. I recommend using a very little amount and working a few minutes on blending and leave it on your face to set a few minutes before going to your foundation.
It completely blurs your pores as it advertises! I have bigger pores around my cheeks and nose and when I am using this you cant see them at all once I am finished my makeup application.
however, I do not recommend this if you have greasy/oily skin as it may make it worse throughout the day.
All in all this has worked great for me ( also can be used as a lipstick primer! ) and is very affordable.

The Maybelline Fit Me Concealer is rather average. It offer some coverage and is easy to apply however the packaging holds very little product! It helps that it is so cheap so I do find myself grabbing it either way but it doesn't last in my makeup bag very long. It is of medium coverage and I do need a couple layers to cover imperfections. It is not awful by any means but not a favorite product either.
I would recommend trying it out if you need little/medium coverage to areas of your face and are looking for a very affordable concealer.
