The second time I tried this, I switched to a cup of orange juice as was suggested in a follow-up email from Chick Advisor. It was much more palatable in the OJ, but still not something I'd say I enjoyed. I also didn't notice much of an effect at all on my energy levels and still found myself needing that daily tea to make it through my work day without feeling bogged down.

Overall a decent energy bar - great taste, though a little rich for me. If I were to purchase these in the future I would likely try a different flavour. It worked well as a midday pick-me-up when I was feeling a bit run down. The sugar content is a little high at 18g per bar, so I would limit myself to only one or two a week. -

I was lucky enough to be one of the chosen 200 mamas to try this out for free through Chick Advisor. My daughter is starting Grade One in a few weeks and we're over the moon with these labels. I ordered the Ultimate Back To School Combo and my daughter had a lot of fun being able to customize them. The quality of these labels is second-to-none, and I love that even though we didn't need all of them for her things this year, we can save the remainder to continue to use in school years to come! Most definitely recommended, and I look forward to purchasing a set for my younger daughter when she starts Kindergarten in 2017. -

It took me a little while to fall in love with this mascara. The brush terrified me at first, in all its spiky glory. I've grown to love it, though, after a few weeks of having it open. I very much prefer a more natural (yet lengthened) look for my lashes and this mascara offers just that. Price point is great. Haven't had any issues with smudging or running, even with the non-waterproof version. -

Very thin paintbrush-like applicator can get quite messy if you don't have a super steady hand. I'm able to get a good cat eye but it usually takes some q-tips & eye makeup remover to get things even and less messy looking. -

I originally saw this foundation get rave reviews on Youtube and finally decided to try it out for myself. Might be a little bit hard to find in some North American stores (it's a European brand), but Shoppers Drug Mart does carry it and I actually got mine from Ebay. Price is kind of in-between drugstore and high-end (About $17). Works fantastically on dry skin (I like to apply with a Beauty Blender) and I was thrilled that they had a shade light enough for my ghostly complexion (51 Vanille Clair)! -

Essie Nail Polish
Hands-down my favourite brand of polish. Their metallics are gorgeous (Good As Gold = love!) and pastels are to die for. I love that most colours are good to go with a maximum of 2 coats.
