I received a travel size of Juara Rice Facial Cleanser in my monthly Ipsy subscription that I like to use in the shower. I don't like the smell of the rice, but besides that there are no other complaints. This cleanser is thin and soothing that doesn't dry out the skin. This gentle product is easy to use and remove while being great for dry and sensitive skin. -

I recieved 5 free samples of Repiel's Timeless Aqua-Bio Shot Mask which also happen to be the first masks I ever tried. Immediately, the packaging of the mask distracted me, as I thought the syringe would have a liquid that would later harden into a removable mask but instead inside of the syringe was a sheet mask wrapped in mesh (to keep the mask from sticking to itself) and covered in gel-like essence. This mask was relatively easy to apply but the fit was less than comfortable.
The forehead, eye, and cheek areas fit nicely but the nose and chin areas were much to large and the mouth area was uncomfortably small. Every time I took a breath from my nose pieces of the mask tried to enter my nostrils and the piece of mask that was supposed to go between my mouth and nose kept moving onto my lips and into my mouth when I moved my mouth or jaw for any reason. Besides the poor fit, the only other complication with the mask was that my eyebrows were itchy for about 3-4 minutes halfway through the process.
When the mask was initially put on there was an immediate cooling sensation along with a fresh, clean smell that combined to be extremely relaxing. After about 15-20 minutes when the mask was ready to be removed, I expected the mask to be dry but that was not the case. The mask came off extremely easily and left an essence that is supposed to be rubbed into the skin. For the first mask I took advantage of the essence but with the later masks washed it off because it left a sticky residue that was a little unpleasant. Overall, I enjoyed this product and would use it again.

I received a free sample of Nivea Men Creme and decided to use it on my female skin because my boyfriend hasn't touched the sample I got him. The lotion was very thick and didn't feel pleasant on my clean shaved legs, but it did feel good on my feet and hands, very soothing. I loved that when applying the creme there was a cooling sensation during and about 5 minutes after application. There is a fresh smell to the creme that's not overpowering and as I write this review my legs are feeling a little sticky but hydrated! I feel like I'm so used to thinner products that this men's creme just simply wasn't made for me! -

I received a free sample of Vaseline's Mature Skin Moisturizer in the mail for my grandmother and we both decided to try it together. The first thing I noticed was the smell, a soft and feminine floral smell, almost like a sweet pea or an orchid. I used the lotion only on my hands and it was very soothing, I felt immediate hydration and my grandmother said that it made her hands feel amazing so at that point it was all hers and she's been using it ever since! I just reminded her about the lotion, she put some on, and she yelled "Oh boy, Katie I love this! I like the way it makes my skin feel and it smells good, too" She said it actually DOES feel rejuvenating! I'm glad my freebie obsession could give her something to love as well and there was no annoying white case after absorbing into our skin! -

At 85+ SPF Neutrogena's Ultra Sheer Dry Touch Sunscreen claims to have a "clean and lightweight" feel and they delivered! I purchased this sunblock at Walmart over the summer and was pleasantly surprised at how easily the sunblock was absorbed into the skin and how smooth my skin felt afterwards, not making me feel sticky and uncomfortable. There also was no visible white cast after absorption of the sunscreen. This sunblock is perfect for a day at the beach or a backyard cookout on a sunny afternoon in Florida! -

I received a free sample of ExfoliKate Intensive in the mail that was easy to apply and remove. Despite the name, I found the exfoliation gentle but slimy when rubbing it into my cheeks and it smelled like sweet pickles with various spices added, which was quite unpleasant. I found that after about a minute and a half my skin was left soft but not dried out, especially when applied in a steamy shower. My main concerns were the pungent smell and the slimy feeling left on my skin, I most likely would not purchase this product if given the chance. -

I received a full-sized free sample of Bioré® Baking Soda Cleansing Scrub from PinchMe and was very skeptical because I'd never used a powdered cleansing scrub before. What I liked most about this product was that you could determine the consistency of the facial cleanser by controlling the amount of water added to the powder. Listening to my skin, some days I needed a thicker scrub to exfoliate my dry skin while other days I would add a little extra water to create a thinner cleanser to eliminate grime and dirt. I also feel like the less water you add to the powder the harsher the chemicals feel on the face, so if you have sensitive skin, you can alter the product to fit to your personal skin care needs. I find that after washing the cleanser off my face is a little on the dry side but since I use a facial moisturizer it didn't bother me as much. I'd definitely recommend this to my friends and be willing to purchase again. -
