I #gotitfree to try thanks to ChickAdvisor. Thanks! I found it was a bit pricy ($15 at my local Canadian Tire) for a medium sized container. But it did keep my produce fresh much longer than the fridge alone. I put a tomato in the container & eight days later it was still a firm and fresh as day one. Amazing! Of course if I wasn't testing out the container it wouldn't have lasted that long before getting eaten. But the possibility of getting probably nearly a week more out of my produce is great. It allows me to purchase larger quantities of produce without ending up wasting it by it going bad before me, myself, and I could eat it all. I could see this product being better for store multiple small items (e.g. berries, mushrooms, cherry tomatoes, grapes, greens, etc) where every inch of the container can be utilized. I found larger produce such as full sized tomatoes and green peppers did fit as easily in the container especially if you had more than one (one fit with lots of room to spare but two didn't) & it is recommended to not wash or cut your produce before storing it in this container. So no "making it fit". A bit of creativity was also needed to fit the container in my fridge due to it being on the taller side. -

From the pictures on the packaging & from the product being called "kale CHIPS" I expected to have larger pieces of kale but the pieces were so small then powdered heavily with seasonings. Although the flavour was pleasant I found I was nearly eating something of dust consistency & it was hard not to get it on my clothing/lap/etc. I thought at first maybe the pieces got broken up in the mail as this item was shipped to me, but the "dust" is pretty uniform in size. With the powdery consistancy it does lend well to being not greasy. It is also gluten free, vegetarian (even though it tastes like bacon), MSG free & GMO free for those that look out for those types of products. -

I have only tried one other brand of roasted seaweed sheets to compare this to. The flavour is very mild so would have liked a bit more flavour or maybe just a bit more salt as the ones I tried were "Sea Salt" flavoured. Surprising due to the amount of sodium in this snack. I liked that the pieces weren't greasy but found they were a bit crumbly and chewy all at once. I ended up with a flakes down the front of my shirt and a bit in my mouth that I had to chew on for a bit (the part that wasn't immediately stuck to the roof of my mouth). I prefer sheets that almost melt in your mouth. The price was on the higher end for me (approx. $4 for a 10g package) but I guess maybe you are paying extra for it to be organic, gluten-free, non GMO, etc. -

Thanks to ChickAdvisor I #gotitfree along with the Mai Tai flavoured mix. I found this to have a classic blue raspberry flavour and when mixed with club soda it tasted just like the blue raspberry sodas I enjoyed from childhood. The flavour is tart but not overly sour. I tried one of the recipes for a mocktail that came with the free samples and found the quantities it asked you to use filled several glasses even though from reading the recipe I got the impression it was enough for one large glass. (unless maybe the glass was meant to be huge!). I didn't try any of the vodka recipes as I am not a fan of vodka but did try this product mixed with club soda (my fav), tonic water, Mai Tai mix, white cranberry & peach cocktail, and by itself (each individually). I would consider repurchasing this product for summer parties as it was very refreshing when mixed with something that didn't add too much extra sweetness. -

I #gotitfree from Chick Advisor to try (my first from CA - so excited!). I tried it first all by itself then tried mixing it with white cranberry peach cocktail, with orange juice, with tonic water, and with white rum. I liked it with the rum best as the rum did some to balance the sweetness of this mix. However overall in all cases I just found it too sweet for my preference. Possibly being mixed sparingly with sparking water might be nice or something more sour like unsweetened cranberry or grapefruit juice, or add some lemon or lime juice to whatever else you are mixing it with. I also found that I got a bit of a headache with some of these more sugary combinations which was a bit off putting (mainly the non-alcoholic ones). -

This was a pleasurable light yet flavourful beer. At first I didn't notice any "hint of watermelon" as the can boasts but did notice it more as I drank more of it (possibly was initially overpowered by other stronger flavours in my mouth from my previous dinner). I can definitely picture this as a nice alternative to a standard beer on a summer day or at an outdoor party. Initially I was skeptical because I wasn't sure how something could still taste like watermelon without it being non-existent or being too overpowering and fake watermelony, but this product had a nice balance when drank alone rather than with a meal. -

So far this is my favourite hard root beer. It has the the classic root beer flavour with the addition of a stronger/full bodied alcoholic finish (similar to a port er?). I drank this alongside my first BBQ of the year and was pretty pleased. It wasn't too sweet but enough that the root beer flavour wasn't over powered by the alcohol. I would likely repurchase this product but maybe not on a regular basis. -

Never having seen this flavour before of cider I figured I'd give it a try. The price was very comparable to other 500mL cans of flavoured ciders. The flavour was light and crisp without being too sour or too sweet. Which I appreciated as I wondered if the rhubarb would make it too sour as natural rhubarb out of the garden is. It was refreshing and very authentically rhubarb, which was also nice as so many other rhubarb products tend to mix it with strawberry or other fruits. I was surprised to find no rhubarb listed in the ingredients unless it is hiding in the "natural flavour" and was equally surprised by the lemon juice and carrot extract added. This likely will be one cider that I will repurchase come summer. -

This is my favourite sauce to put on steak, burgers, fries, etc. From an early age I knew this was the sauce for me. My parents would regularly stock this as well as one other brand of steak sauce but I would always turn my nose up at the other and demand the HP. heh. Once I first started "adulting" aka buying all my own groceries, I realized this sauce is a bit pricy. However after purchasing a lesser priced brand and my soul feeling sad (and being not as satisfied with the flavour) I gave up all hopes of saving money and purchased my own bottle of HP (now more than once). I enjoy the spice it has without being spicy/hot and how it enhances the flavour of my meats. -

Trying another Atlantic Canadian brewery's fruit flavoured beer. This one boasts a blueberry and chai tea flavour in a pilsner beer. In my first mouthful I got a strong chai/spicy punch but it seemed to disappear as I continued drinking this beverage. It tastes to me as a medium-dark beer with a pleasing aroma and flavour but not one that is overly blueberry or tea-like. The chai spice flavour quickly just because an after taste which I'm not sure if I care for though I prefer the chai spice on the subtler side as I usually find it too strong (e.g. in a traditional chai tea). I am a bit disappointed though that the black tea flavour isn't more pronounced. I generally think of fruity beers as a summery version of beer but in this case with the chai spices it has more of wintery feel to it. -
