It doesn't last as long as I'd like, but at least 8 hours between reapplying (and it does amazing for the 8-10 hours, which is a work day) but I am pretty tough on antiperspirants.

Taste wise, it needs to be chilled and shaken well.... really really well.

Simple Micellar Make Up Removers are handy (cloth form, no cotton balls required). They are less harsh. They are about the same price as other cleansing cloths.
Maybe I wear super strong make up but I found I had to work harder to remove make up using these wipes.
But your skin can't take harsh all the time, so these are a great alternative.
