I’m used to an electric toothbrush so switching back to a manual one was a bit weird. The bristles are pretty densely packed and very thin. It feels like it gets my teeth as clean as my usual brush. I like to use an electric as it has a timer built in and I found I wasn’t brushing as long as I should be with this one. I think if you have a timer, or are used to a manual brush then you’d be fine. Overall, I’d say it’s fine. The gimmicks seemed to be just that to me but it still worked well. -

I tried this out for about 10 days to make sure it did everything I wanted in a shampoo regardless of it being in a bar format. It had a great smell out of the box and smelled great on my hair. I have used other shampoo bars and I’d say this is on par with those. I do wish it came in a reusable container instead of a box but at least the packaging is recyclable. It’ll be perfect for travel. It does collect hair and cracks but I find any shampoo bar I’ve used does that too. If you don’t like seeing your hair in the bar I’d recommend lathering it up in your hands and only using that lather on your hair instead of using the bar directly on your head. -

I was pleasantly surprised by the smell. A lot of times eucalyptus has a medicinal scent but this was more sweet. I really enjoyed that. It goes on nice and smooth and I didn’t notice any residue on my armpits or my clothes. I don’t like when products claim they last 24 or 48 hours as the majority of people will never test that and it’s almost never really true. I did put it to the test though! I put it on at 10 am one day and checked in through the day and found for about 8-10 hours it lasted quite nicely. After that, it wasn’t that I was smelling bad but you could tell the deodorant was not really doing anything any more. I’m totally fine with the amount of time it lasted. I usually use a handmade deodorant and I feel the one I use lasts longer but its nice to have this as an option for travel or to use when I run out of my normal one. -

I received a coupon for a free box but I am having a really hard time finding this product anywhere near me so this review is based solely on the idea of the product. I think it’s a fantastic idea for a fun family activity. I do think that you could make this all at home without the need for this kit but I do understand that it’s easier to grab a mix sometimes instead of making it completely from scratch. From the reviews I’m seeing it’s tricky to get right and there may not be enough sauce so keep that in mind (but remember I can’t even find it near me so that might not be my experience when I do eventually find it). I’ll give an updated review whenever it makes its way to a store near me. -

I wasn't sure if this would be a good match at first as the picture on the tube looked very different from what came out of the tube. I was pleasantly surprised at the match! It was such a nice light formula and blended easily with a beauty blender. I don't like heavy makeup and like some of my natural skin to show through and this did that. It evened out some discoloured areas and made my face look more even and fresh. It worked really well with the jelly primer and the setting spray and lasted at least 8 hours before I took it off to go to bed. -

The jelly primer was such an interesting formula! I wasn't sure what to make of it but I wound up really liking it with makeup. Sometimes I use a primer on its own but this isn't one of those. It does go a bit tacky and that really helped to keep the foundation in place, but that means that it's not great to wear without makeup on top. It was also a bit hard to gauge how much to use and it was hard to get out an exact amount using your fingers because of the consistency. Using a silicone scoop made getting out the right amount of product easier. -

I was sent a coupon to try the new Snapple tea in a plastic bottle. It's the same great taste I loved in a different bottle. At first I didn't realize it was plastic because the bottle are so similar to the old glass bottles. The Raspberry Tea tastes the same as I remember and now I'm wondering why I stopped drinking Snapple! I received “Dark Spot Rescue” hand lotion free to try through @chickadvisor. I’ve only had the hand lotion for about a week so I really can’t tell if it’s made any difference in dark spots. It does say it takes at least 4 weeks to see results so I’d be really shocked if I noticed a difference in the tie I’ve had to test it out so I’ll just comment on it’s effectiveness as a moisturizer. It doesn’t take much product to cover your hands, a dime size or so worked for me. It doesn’t leave a sticky or thick residue and did moisturize well for me. It will be interesting to see if it makes any difference in a few weeks. -
