Based on the other product I tried from the Vichy Purete Thermale range this was the MOST disappointing. I love oil and water-based makeup removers and it's always a bonus when they are waterproof and can take absolutely anything off. This one, however, didn't do any of that. While I did help take face makeup off extremely well and didn't leave an oily residue on the skin when it came to taking off eyeliner and mascara it was a completely fail! Considering the $20 price tag of this product I would rather opt for my holy grail Marcelle Gentle Makeup Remover then retails for around $14 and contains much more product!
This would be best for young girls or newbies with makeup who are just starting out and aren't wearing full faces of makeup every day. I do also want to say that this was extremely gentle on the skin and felt beautiful but it was the effectiveness that lacked!

When I think of a 'scrub' I automatically think that it's going to do more harm to my skin than good! However with the Vichy Purete Thermale Renewal Cleansing Scrub, I found this to be extremely smooth on the skin while still having enough of a soft bead to really slough off the dead skin and clean the skin effectively. My skin felt soft, looked refreshed and certainly felt plump and beautiful after I used this product. I also want to mention that I found this product worked the best when paired with the other Vichy products I was able to try.
However, I found a few negatives that I want to address:
- I had to use a lot of the product to really get it to slide around the skin properly
- Due to the overuse and the price, I don't know if I would repurchase this

Out of all the products from the Purete Thermale link of products that was absolutely my favorite. From the packaging which contains a nifty little pump to the foaming action of the product and the way it cleaned by skin, felt my skin feeling cool and made my skin glow. I would 110% recommend this product to anyone who is interested in trying a new cleanser or who is looking to beef up their skin care routine with products that ACTUALLY work!
Here are other things to note:
- product works with OR without water
- has a pleasant fresh and clean scent
- do not need a lot of product to make it effectively cleanse

Con's
+ Small and hard to hold to apply foundation
+ Sponge just isn't large enough to cover an area quick enough for me
+ Doesn't blend out the product very well and I went back in with my normal beauty blender/brush
+ $8 for a small tiny sponge that doesn't really work well just isn't worth it for me
Pro's
+ Might be decent for working in smaller areas where you want to concentrate more product
+ Completely unique product to the Drugstore market

I was pleasantly surprised when trying the new Maybelline Foundation. I've had wonderful experience with Maybelline the past including their Fit Me Foundation, Dream Liquid Foundation and many other products. I knew this product wouldn't disappoint me but I was able to find some pro's and con's of the product that I wanted to share:
Pro's
+ Gave my skin an airbrushed finish when blended out properly
+ Lightweight, nongreasy feeling
+ Easily available at the Drugstore
+ Lasted 12+ hours on the skin with fading or oxidizing
Con's
+ Shade (Porcelain Ivory) was a bit orange for my skin tone
+ Dried very quickly on the skin so I had to work in small sections
+ Price point is a bit high for the product considering its competition

+ Lasts 12+ hours on the skin using the right primer and setting spray
+ Comes in a large variety of shades
+ Does not appear cakey or thick when applied to the skin
+ Shade light to full coverage and is extremely buildable
+ Covers acne scars, redness and any imperfection you can think of
+ Works as a primer, foundation and concealer ALL in one!
+ Even when I don't use this as a foundation I tend to pull it out to use for a concealer !
