This was my first time trying a heatless curler and I wasn’t sure what to expect—especially since my hair is thick and doesn’t usually hold a curl well. I decided to leave the Aria Heatless Curl Set in overnight, and WOW… I woke up to full, bouncy curls!
It was really easy to use. I added a clip to help secure the band to my head while wrapping, and lightly misted my hair with water before sleeping in it. The curls held beautifully and saved me so much time the next morning.
Next time I’ll wrap my hair a little looser for softer, beachy waves—but overall, I’m so impressed with how well this worked. A must-try for anyone looking to style their hair without heat damage!

The noodles didn’t break apart or clump like some alternative pastas do, and they cooked in just 8 minutes. The spaghetti had that perfect bite and a clean, familiar flavour. Even picky eaters wouldn’t know this was a plant-based, protein-packed version. This is officially my go-to for pasta night!

It cooked up perfectly al dente in just 9 minutes, with none of the mushy or sticky texture I’ve experienced with other “healthy” pastas. I tossed it in a marinara sauce and it held the sauce beautifully. The flavour was spot on—classic pasta taste with a great nutritional bonus. This penne made it really easy to add extra protein to a weeknight meal without sacrificing taste. Will definitely buy again!

This was my first time trying a shampoo and conditioner bar, and I tested the Jack59 Weekend Edition Island Tropics Set for colour-treated hair.
What I loved: the hair quiz was super quick and accurate—it matched me with the right product for my needs. The bars smell amazing, and the mini compostable container is a nice touch, especially for the gym or travel. I also really appreciate that this is a Canadian-made brand focused on sustainability!
What didn’t work as well for me: I found the shampoo bar didn’t lather as much as I’m used to, and I had trouble gauging how much of the conditioner to apply. I personally prefer my usual liquid products at home, but for on-the-go use, this is such a convenient and eco-friendly option.
Definitely worth trying if you’re looking to reduce plastic and simplify your hair care routine while traveling!

I recently had a drywall repair to tackle, and this DAP Wall Repair Patch Kit was just what I needed! It comes with everything required to repair holes up to 3 inches in diameter in drywall, plaster, or masonry. The standout feature? The DRYDEX Dry Time Indicator, which turns pink as it dries, letting you know exactly when your surface is ready for sanding and painting.
The instructions were super straightforward, making the process a breeze. I even cut the patch smaller to save some for any future repairs. My only critique is that the patch felt a bit thick, which made it challenging to blend seamlessly with the wall. A couple of holes from the patch showed through the paint, but that might be on me for over-sanding!
Overall, this kit is fantastic for anyone looking to tackle wall repairs at home. Highly recommend it!
