This product is meant to give fine hair more volume, but I don't find that it increases volume in my fine, thin hair and for that reason alone I would not repurchase it. It definitely cleans your hair thoroughly, so if you use a ton of product then you may notice it provides volume by eliminating products that weigh your hair down. I typically alternate between different shampoos, but if I used this one exclusively, I think it would be too drying for my dry scalp and hair. If you are looking for a shampoo that cleans well and you don't have a dry scalp this may be the one for you, but I will keep looking for something else to boost volume. -

This is my go-to product for dry scalp. Calgary winters dry out my hair and scalp, and this is the only product I KNOW will not irritate my scalp. I typically alternate it with other shampoos. I let the shampoo sit on my hair for a minute before rinsing (a trick a hair stylist showed me) to let the product work into my scalp. It's a bit pricier than some shampoos, but I don't find I need to use a lot for it to be effective and to get clean hair. -

Ancient Minerals Shampoo smelled SO good I would like to love it, but unfortunately it is way too drying for my dry hair and scalp. My husband, who has oily hair, also found it too drying. The label says it is a "shine intense formula" but I didn't find it made my hair shinier. It is also supposed to strengthen hair density, enhance hair vibrancy and hydrate chemically treated hair - none of this happened for me. I use this shampoo to clean my makeup brushes now. It has a yummy caramel sweet smell. Too bad it didn't live up to its promises. -

I LOVE this product! Even using half the recommended dose gets great results for my long fine, thin hair. It makes your hair unbelievably soft and smooth and totally tames my winter flyaways. It's a bit pricy at about $1 per application, but I avoid using it near my scalp and focus it on my ends. If you want hair you can't stop touching because it feels silky and smooth, then this is for you. -
