I love Colgate Total toothpaste and it’s the only toothpaste I purchase. It leaves my teeth feeling well polished and my mouth feeling fresh and clean. I started buying this brand when a friend of mine who had bleeding gums said her dentist recommended it to her and it helped clear up her problem. -

I love a moisturizer with an SPF! It is lightweight, absorbs easily, is lightly scented and is good for my combination skin. I’m very satisfied with this product. It is a bit pricier than other drugstore moisturizers, but I like this brand. I usually purchase it at Shoppers Drug Mart when it’s on sale or when extra PC optimum points are offered with the product to increase the value for my money. I use this throughout the spring and summer and switch to a heavier moisturizer for the fall and winter months. -

I switched to natural peanut butter years ago. When Kraft introduced its version of the all peanut natural stuff I gave it a shot. It has a lower price point than other brands and often goes on sale in the grocery store. This version with sea salt is so satisfyingly delicious. Okay, so by the time I bought a Magic Eraser there was already a huge cult following. I felt pretty sceptical about a piece of sponge that didn’t contain any actual product. At the stores I didn’t like the price point until it appeared at my local dollar store. I broke down and bought one just to see what the hype was about. So, it definitely works! Cleans up all kinds of difficult messes. However, the sponge disintegrates pretty quickly and I feel a bit wasteful throwing a sponge out after one use. -

I’ve always used original Pine Sol. I grew up cleaning with it when my mother bought it. One day she told me I should try lavender scent, but I didn’t listen and bought my old stand by, the original scent. Next time I needed Pine Sol I bought the lavender scent, and I actually prefer it to the original. I use this to mop my floors and love how it cleans up dirt and dry spills and makes my home smell fresh. -

Ahh Vim! I love this stuff so much. I grew up using a powder washroom cleaner and I really did stray from my upbringing here. Vim gets grime, grease, mildew up from hard surfaces with minimal effort and leaves your counters, stove top, shower, sink and tub sparkling clean. Also a little bit goes a very long way. This is one product in my cleaning arsenal I wil never let run out. -

I have been buying Tide for years, first the powder format, then the liquid, then the ultra liquid and now pods. Pods are super convenient and mess free. I use a laundry facility in my apartment building and it’s so much easier not to haul a big jug or box of powder down to the ground floor with all of my laundry. The original scent has always been my favourite and I will most likely be sticking with this brand for the rest of my life. -

I’ve been using Sunlight dish soap for a lot of years. I love the way it lathers, cuts grease and leaves my dishes sparkling clean. It’s also great for washing linoleum floors and dirty windows. I found out a professional window cleaning company uses it to clean windows and that it was also used to clean the dome at the Rogers Centre. If it’s good enough for big, tough jobs then it’s great for multiple uses around my home. I will be buying this product probably for the rest of my life. -
