It works really well, better than most headache rollers. The scent is light and fresh. As a chronic migraineur, it is a real and true friend. Non-greasy and doesn't stain your pillow if you wear it before bed. I carry it everywhere.

If you have light hair, it seems to stain it a bit yellowish. For textured hair, I think it is ideal. For fine hair, maybe not, or only on the ends. -

I haven't used much retinol before, but it was an excellent beginning product. I will say that there is a "purging" when you first use it--your skin may break out the first few days slightly and then clear up entirely. -

The scents are lush, complex, and nuanced. They sit closer to your skin than alcohol based perfumes, and meld better with the natural scent of your skin. I wrote them asking for scents that were more forest/earthy like and unusual. Lost Highways was my favorite of the samples tried. It smells exactly like driving through the US and breathing in lush coastal forests. A friend tried it and said: wow, I love this. It smells like fresh jasmine and flowers in wet hair in India.

I was skeptical about this lotion: sake with horse placenta in a big pink bottle? Got it on a whim and have no regrets. It is stunning, leaves my skin silky smooth and ...juicy? All my friends tried it and were blown away by the effectiveness, even a friend with severely sensitive and irritated skin. It reduces my keratosis pilaris, it has a soft lovely scent, and it..works. I will be purchasing more. One downside: the way it dispenses makes it hard not to waste any, as the lotion is thin and will gush out. I would recommend using a different bottle if you buy it. However: that is a minor detail. Easily one of the best asian beauty purchases I have ever made. -
