I have always been a sufferer of dry/cracked skin and have tried many brands of moisturizers but this CICA ointment is not only convenient to use with a special applicator tip but actually works. Over the winter I developed a rough, dark patch of skin on my knuckles that seemed to be getting thicker and darker by the day. I tried oils, creams, medicated ointments and nothing worked. After 2 days of using this product the skin on my knuckles retained enough moisture that the thick, dark skin had began to lighten and heal. I am absolutely blown away by this product. I've been using it for a week and my knuckles are almost back to normal. I can't even believe what I'm seeing. Thank you to Chickadvisor and Aveeno Canada for this free sample; this is a product I will be recommending to everyone I know. -

Thanks to Chickadvisor and Aveeno Canada I received a full sized tub of this product. Having suffered from dry, cracked skin for many years, I have tried many intense hydration products but this balm absolutely shocked me with it's immediate results. After one use the cracked skin on my legs disappeared completely - I waited 24 hours and the cracks did not reappear. I am completely blown away by this product and would HIGHLY recommend any dry/cracked skin sufferers to give it a try. I will definitely buy this product again and again. -

I recently received this setting powder as a gift - I have used Sacha products on and off over the years and have always been impressed with the quality. But this setting powder is actually the best quality powder I have ever used - it does not leave any residue/lines/streaks and gives a silky finish that sets your makeup for the day. Sacha is a company based in Trinidad and their products are made for all skin types and all colours of skin. I'd definitely recommend giving any of their products a try. -

If you are located near Ancaster, Ontario and are in need of eyebrow or lash work, I HIGHLY recommend Carefree Beauty by May. I had my first microblading session last week and am beyond happy with the results. Check out her facebook and instagram feeds for examples and reviews - I was hesitant to do microblading as I was unsure of the procedure and the healing process but there was minimal pain due to the numbing cream that May uses (it felt like my eybrows were being plucked) And it's been less than a week and I have had minimal soreness AND my brows look the best they have in years. I love not having to spend time on drawing/filling my brows in the morning - my makeup takes 3 minutes as opposed to 20.
May is a perfectionist and she loves what she does; it totally comes through in her work. She is one of the nicest people I have ever met and I'm already looking forward to seeing her again for our 'touch up' session in a few weeks time. Her prices are great too!

The first time I sprayed this product onto my hair I was overcome by a wave of nostalgia. This dry shampoo smells EXACTLY like a Strawberry Shortcake doll - children of the 80s will know what I'm talking about. It's also a great dry shampoo; it doesn't leave a white powdery film on your hair and it works instantly. Picked up a 6oz can at Winners for $5.99 - a bit cheaper than Batiste and works just as well. No sulfates, dyes, parabens, etc. and safe for colour treated hair. I will buy this product forever. -

Thanks to Chickadvisor and Nude by Nature I was given the opportunity to try this product for free. As with most primers, it helped keep my foundation in place for a 12 hour day (and more). Nicely scented and a smooth application, it did the job but I'm not sure I would switch from my Smashbox primer to this one, based mostly on the actual feel of the product on my skin. I will continue to use the sample I received over a longer period of time to see if it helps improve my overall complexion with it's amazing all natural ingredients.

Just received my free sample of Schwartzkopf Root Retoucher in black. I've used a variety of root touch ups over the years and this one is definitely high on the list of products I will purchase again. Application is simple and once dry there is no evidence that there is product in your hair - the only downfall is that it does come off on your hands so either give it a once over with hair spray to seal it in or just don't touch your hair.
