I had the amazing opportunity to try Covergirl’s new Hyaluronic Complex and Bamboo Serum infused mascara.
Here is my review:
PROs
- The mascara is nourishing as it is infused with Hyaluronic Complex and Bamboo Serum.
- The package is very attractive and can fit any purse.
- Easy to use as the brush is nicely curved.
CONs
- It did not lift my lashes as much as the other brands of mascara I’ve used before. I do not do any lash lift or lash extensions. The lash lift ability of a mascara is very important to me.
- The mascara got pretty messy on my fingers and eyelids when I applied it.

I was able to try out the sample during the day and at night before going to bed. I was very happy with the results. Initially, the cream appeared thick when I put it on my fingers and I was worried that it would be too much for my blemish prone skin and cause breakouts. However, when I applied it on my face, I was pleasurably surprised that it rubbed in quickly and didn’t leave my hands the least bit greasy 🤩.
It is currently winter and veryyyyy cold where I am in Canada and my face was hydrated throughout the night and the day. AND, I got no breakouts! My face was well hydrated and looked super healthy. I LOVE this product and I believe this product is great for sensitive skin. I will definitely purchase the full product!
