When moving to a new town, I was surprised to see the abundance of Robin's Donuts here as I'd only seen it once before in my life. I was even more surprised to see how popular it is, with many choose to make a run to Robin's over Tim Hortons! Apparently the coffee is good. I personally don't drink coffee but they have an amazing blueberry tea there! -

L'Oreal Paris Voluminous Superstar Mascara
I am definitely disappointed in this mascara. Considering it is from L'Oreal Paris I thought it would at least be average but it's terrible, works like a dollarstore brand. If I use step one (white) then step two I have to do it multiple times just... +
I am definitely disappointed in this mascara. Considering it is from L'Oreal Paris I thought it would at least be average but it's terrible, works like a dollarstore brand. If I use step one (white) then step two I have to do it multiple times just to get the black to cover the white. It is also thin and prone to clumps. If I wear it, I will walk by a mirror a few hours later to find it already sliding off my eyelashes. -

I used to avoid Aveeno because I figured it was just like any other plain lotion but cost a few dollars more. Then I purchased it one time because of a coupon and I am very impressed. I get dry skin very easily and usually use a specific cracked heel cream but started using Aveeno on my feet since it ran out and the Aveeno is working just as well, if not better and its actually less expensive. -

Swagbucks is a way to earn points and eventually receive giftcards by doing surveys and different tasks. It takes a while to add up though and surveys can be long. I don't thnk it is worth most peoples time. However, I was really sick when pregnant and couldn't do much but sit around and watch tv anyways so I spent a lot of time on Swagbucks and used my pts to buy a $25 Cineplex giftcard for my husband for Christmas so I was happy with that. -

Also, the smell stays longer and is stronger (but not overpowering) than many other brands. Their prices aren't cheap alone but they almost always have a great promotional sale. -
No Frills
Best prices in town. Not only does No Frills have great sales, their everyday shelf prices are the cheapest I have seen so far even compared to Superstore. No frills are typcially smaller and don't have an actual bakery or deli though, so you may... +
Best prices in town. Not only does No Frills have great sales, their everyday shelf prices are the cheapest I have seen so far even compared to Superstore. No frills are typcially smaller and don't have an actual bakery or deli though, so you may have to make an extra stop elsewhere for those items. This store is also part of the PC Points program and I have received over $100 in free groceries in the last year. -

When we first moved to a city with a Costco, I was super excited about it. I know how popular it is and how its supposed to save money in the long run but after going, I was actually disappinted. Since we aren't picky, I ususally just buy the store brand/ no name brand anyways and found it was still cheaper to do this than to shop at Costco. The only things that were a great deal that we bought consistantly were cheese and yogurt. I do however, enjoy their athletic wear and consider it to be well priced. -
