I absolutely love the sleek, minimalistic packaging and original formula of the Koh Gen Do Aqua Foundation. I took this beauty for a spin on my skin again today in the shade 123 which is almost a perfect match. I had forgotten just how luminous and skin-like (without being overly dewy) this foundation appears on the skin. It provides the perfect amount of sheer to medium buildable coverage without looking cakey (full coverage ladies, this is NOT the one for you). This wears impeccably well throughout an 8-10 hour day depending on what you wear underneath (primer or not). I prefer to wear this one sans primer. This product is cruelty free and does not contain artificial colors, fragrance, or mineral oils (and that makes me feel good about putting this on my skin)! I haven’t checked out the reformulated version yet. That’s on my to-do list.
Overall thoughts: If you have oily skin, you may still like this but may want to set with a powder. This is a bit on the pricey side but WORTH IT (if you can find your shade).

I adore this lip mask. If you have dry, dehydrated lips you need to run to your nearest Sephora and grab this. This mask is great to put on at night and will leave you with supple lip, plump lips in the morning. You can also apply throughout the day. It wears well under lipstick and is not tacky. It is beautiful to wear on its own. There is no scent and is not irritating to the lips. This product is someone difficult to squeeze out of the tube when it is cold, but other than that, I have zero complaints. It is by far one of the BEST lip masks I have ever purchased (and will continue to purchase)! -

Let me begin by saying I was so excited by the release of this product. I thought it would be the answers to my scalp woes. Unfortunately, I found this cold, crackling foam very difficult to apply to my entire scalp. The foam stripped my hair color after washing it out (it has salicylic acid in it and I suspect that it had something to do with it). This product definitely tingles and stripped everything from my hair (and not in a good way). My hair felt like straw after use. I wanted to love this but it wasn't for me. It was very pricey for the amount in the bottle. I will not be repurchasing. -

This powder will keep you matte all day long! It delivers on its claims. It is affordable and does not have flashback. It is easy to apply with a fluffy brush since the lid comes off, exposing a large, full pan of powder for application. The drawback to the lid is it is a cheap plastic material that easily cracks and breaks, leaving you without a cover for your powder. Despite this one flaw, the powder is amazing and will keep you matte for an entire day. I would not recommend this to someone with dry skin. -

Elf Makeup Mist and Set is a great budget-friendly setting spray at $4.00 a bottle. This setting spray will help hold your makeup in place for almost 8 hours and is comparable to Urban Decay's All Nighter Spray. The scent is nice and the bottle is good for travel. The only drawback to the bottle is the spray nozzle which does not allow for an even dispersal of the product. You can easily blend in the product with a beauty blender, but it defeats the purpose, in my opinion. Decant this in a better spraying bottle (Urban Decay's bottle is a great choice once it is empty) and save yourself a few bucks! -

Venn Skincare is one of the newer brands when it comes to anti-aging. I was lucky enough to be able to sample this product for several months. I loved being able to pronounce all of the ingredients on the package; milk thistle, maitake mushroom, ginseng, green tea leaf, red onion shell, and pine tree bark (just to name a few). I love the simple pump packaging (although I think it made it difficult to get every last drop of the product out, especially when it is a bit on the pricey side). This product claims to have anti-aging properties. I did not notice any major changes to fine lines and wrinkles; age spots, or brightness. I do think this product is a nice moisturizer if you are in the market for one (albeit, an expensive one). -

Clinique's Take the Day off Cleansing Balm melts into a luxurious oil that removes all of your makeup, including waterproof mascara and it does not leave behind a film or residue after rinsing. Instead, your skin is smooth to the touch. I love the amount of product you receive for the price and how good I feel after using it. This is one of my all time favorite makeup cleansers and I cannot wait to use it at the end of the day! -

It wears well underneath makeup as it does not cause the skin to be too oily and provides the right amount of moisture. It also serves as a great nighttime moisturizer.
