Yes I took the kids trick or treating, poor babies I made them go till they dropped. They were really happy when they got home and seen how much candy they got. So was I lol. I notice on here there are days when you can take a break and nobody seems to write reviews, that's when I do mine. Well I am a stay at home mommy for now so I have quite a bit of time on my hands when the children are at school. How was your Halloween? Any fun parties? We just stayed home and netflixed it up the rest of the weekend. I was reading your reviews and you are so good at writing them. There should be a top ten for people who do in depth reviews like you. Cause I never saw a review as long as the ones you write. I try to keep mine at 400 characters or I'd never get as many in lol. OMG Im so let down.. I was trying soooo hard to get on the Top 10 and I had it, then there was like 3 minutes left, and I clicked on to add another review, and all of a sudden the girl whom I had replace for 10th spot, was suddenly 104 points ahead of me. OMG that's really trippy, cuz I feel the same way. I was telling a girl at work about how I met a really cool "chick" lol on chick advisor and told her how weird it was that I felt I was getting to know her and called you a friend. It's just the way I guess. Thank you and I am glad you find me approachable, I always tell everyone I know and whoever comes to my home, make sure you are comfortable, let me know what you need, Im a good listener, help yourself, and I get exited about having a clean comfortable house and make sure everyone has fresh linen for sleeping and I even buy extra toothbrushes for the cupboard lol. You see very genuine and on the same wave length as me, even though I don't have children and am not married. I am single, but hoping the right one will come along, but not dating right now. I am 3 years out of a 6 year relationship that went very down hill and my life went crashing down. So I am finally starting to feel more open to getting in a relationship again. But I am not looking, it will come my way if it is meant to be. I am sorry about your loss as well. I don't watch too much news, hence what happened to your Nanny. The news can be so awful and depressing, but in a way it is good to know what is happening. I agree with Einstein, Actually my ex was a HUGE Einstein fanatic. quoted him all the time. I could right more, but I am tired, I only stayed home for 1 day of work, they told me to take 3, but work helps take my mind off looking at pictures or just thinking of her. Hey Laurel.. so happy to see you up there. .I am 1082 points behind the top 10!!! I am hoping to climb back up, but my Nanny (grandma) died on Saturday 22nd at 5am.. Things are really hard right now, so doing reviews isn't my priority right now. I am hoping I can get the $25 Winners card, help out with a new dress..I am still doing stuff for craft fair, and still trying to get my $200 back that was frauded from my account.. grrr.. You have a fabulous day. I have the day off work, but can't spend the day doing reviews, I am still in the process of painting my home and I have all my crafts to log and get ready for my up coming craft fairs in mid and the end of November. Oh, and I went to my works Service Awards last night. Tons of fun, dinner, drinks. 3 People won awards for not ever calling in sick !! One person had 1 year, another 2 years and one guy 5 years without being sick !! It was funny because we all knew who he was before they even announced it. Oh, and I won a Bose Soundlink Color Wireless Speaker, $150!! going to have to do a review on it lol. they handed out laptops and tvs too. it was insane ttys

Wow, that's awesome. A few more things alike, well sort of.. My Aunty Jame (who unfortunately passed about 6 years ago) was married to my Uncle, my Mom's brother. She is native, but I am not sure what her heritage is, so my cousins are native as well, not by blood, ,except my cousin Carl who is my Uncles' son, my other cousins were married into the family. I have been to many Pow Wows, my Nanny (my grandma, that is what we call her) makes my Mom take her to Head Smashed in Buffalo Jump for the Dancing once a week while they put it on all summer long. When I visit my Nanny, we go there, the one guy, Desmond I think his name is, always recognizes us and says, oh, theres Nanny Lemke, cuz she is there every year each weeks for years and years. It is pretty crazy cliff to see where they charged the Buffalo's off. I have no judgement when it comes to Native's, they are the truest Canadians, as they were here for years and years before Canada even became a country. It is too bad all the animosity and politics that happen with that subject. I do know that the reservations here in the west get the best name. The one place I know well though is Anaheim Lake, my best friend Lyndy is from their, her Grandparents own the Anaheim Lake Ranch which is huge. .We call her a 'Lyndian"" because she is blonde haired, blue eyed Indian. LOL.. Also from there is the goalie from Montreal Canadians Carey Price. He grew up in Williams Lake, BC which is actually my home town. That is where he played hockey and went to school anyway. Williams Lake is a large Native population and there are many reservations in that area. Mohawk is a pretty old nation isn't it?

Hmm. oh.. yes, my bookmarks, I would love to sell them at Chapters. My Mom does them full time as she is retired, and her work is insanely perfect. You would think it was made by a machine. Will post some pics. I can't put them on instagram. I can't figure it out? I go to instagram on my laptop, and I click those buttons, the one with the heart and diamond etc. and nothing happens, How do I upload a photo? ins't that what Instagram is all about? lol Help :)

Yes, I knew a lady at the Friendship Center years ago that used to make and sell moccasins, and the leather was from hides that her family made themselves from hunting, the beads were made by glass by hand.. etc.. but she is passed now, and I only paid $150 for ankle boots. but that was 15 years ago. I prefer to pay a person, not a corporation.

Oh, and yes, I saw 2 black bears right outside by bedroom window this last month. He was a foot away from my face.. so beautiful.. They are all over Revelstoke since it is right in the Rocky Mountains. I saw 2 baby cubs only about 60 lbs too running down my back alley when I went to take out the garbage, thank god Mama wasn't right there. That is the only time I am really scared is when I see cubs, other wise, they scare away pretty easy. They come into town for all the plums, pears, apples, cherries.

Hubert lol that's awesome.. OMG you make hand made furniture, and work with wood. I don't know much about that stuff. I can use a chainsaw though and have my Buckers Liscense.. but Im not doing that either. My ex was a Forestry Worker, and Dangerous Tree Faller, so I did stuff like that with him.

But, I have always wanted my entire home filled with furniture made my local artisans or east coast artisans lol. My friend Lacy who lives about 2 hours from me whom I grew up with makes her own furniture too and its beautiful. I think you can google Ebony and Ivory if that is still the name of her company. that is so cool that you do that. Amazing. Awesome to see women working with wood.

I paint (acrylic , watercolor, ) have had only 1 gallery show and of the 4 paintings up I sold 2 in half an hour !!. I also am a published poet ,but only 1 poem at that. I haven't been doing enough of that. I also have winter craft sales, I cross stitch bookmarks and ornaments and magnets. Some of the bookmarks take 10 hours and I sell them for just $5 lol. but it's not about the money. Who would pay more than that for a bookmark right? Me and my Mom do it. I know I am way behind, I am trying to get myself ready for my 2 Revelstoke Winter Craft Fairs Nov 17 and Nov 27th, But I have to try to make time during the day to do both.. I noticed some new people that came out of nowhere !! It can change so fast hey? and that sucks, I am way way over in British Columbia, so no hanging out anytime soon. that sucks..Would be fun for sure.. keep in touch though.. and keep up those reviews.. lindseydeshamps seems to be the champion each month... !! I don't know how that girl does it. she must be very disciplined with her review schedule ttyss :)
