Very affordable, easy to use toner that helps keeps skin blemish free and definitely helps get rid of existing zits quickly! Has a bit of a weird smell, which is why I often prefer to get the kind with rose water in it as well, but it’s definitely tolerable. I just squirt a bit on a plain cotton pad and swipe over my face after cleansing to make sure there’s no stray makeup. -

I have moderately sensitive skin and didn’t experience anything. I use this several nights a week before bed. When I wash my face in the morning it’s VERY soft. I love adding a few drops of Lapis or Orchid oil after applying this for extra moisture. It’s also worth mentioning that the bottle and packaging is so pretty! -

This toner was such a miss for me. It came in a kit of Herbivore minis and I was so excited to try it! The bottle and packaging is so beautiful I figured it had to be amazing. I noticed the cloying old lady smell first. I attribute that to the jasmine. It also made my skin feel like it had a sticky residue on it. Then there’s the price. $49 for a little bottle of smelly witch hazel is a pass for me. First and hopefully last Herbivore product I don’t like, because I’m SUCH a huge fan! -

I’ve got mild rosacea, but also oily, flaky, congested, acne prone skin, it’s pretty bad. I was immediately put off by the smell of this oil, but I’m also trying to get away from synthetic fragrance oils due to allergies, so I’m cool with it (it fades pretty quick). It’s like a weird herbal, medicinal smell, but whatever. I apply this before bed every night, only a few drops needed. $100 for a bottle of facial oil may seem like a lot, but when you’re using 3 drops for your entire face, the bottle will last forever! In the morning, my skin is hydrated, plumped up and healthy looking. I’ve been using it in conjunction with the blue tansy mask and my skin has never looked better! The flakiness is gone, the oiliness is very much under control now. Any zits I had are completely gone and I haven’t gotten any new ones. Please never discontinue this oil! -

I’ve got mild rosacea, but also combination skin that can be oily and flaky at the same time. My pores also tend to get congested which is super awesome. I got this mask in a lot of Herbivore minis and have been very impressed. A little goes a long way, so even though this mask is really expensive, it’ll also last you a long time. It smells and looks a little weird, but I find it’s pretty gentle on my skin and leaves it so soft and clear looking afterwards. My redness has improved slightly, but I think I may need to use this longer to see bigger results. The colour may degrade a little from a turquoise blue to a greenish colour, but it still works all the same. I’ll be buying the full sized once I run out -

My boyfriend recently got a really generous sample of this in the Lush store and has been using it for about a month, and cannot stop raving about it! He’s by no means into skincare or beauty products, but he does take care of his beard and is absolutely obsessed with this cleanser. The pineapple enzymes really help keep any flakies at bay, and his beard is always very soft and smelling great after using this. -

They ARE expensive, but you can break these into pieces and use maybe 1/4 at a time for a huge amount of bubbles and scent :) -

I’m usually pretty cheap when it comes to scrubs because I know they’re made of cheap ingredients (salt, sugar, coffee grounds etc). This scrub from Lush is REALLY expensive. Over $30 for a teeny tiny little pot, but I keep buying it because it’s awesome and it works. I have combination skin and live in a very cold place where your skin is prone to dryness and flakiness, so this stuff is an absolute life saver. Sloughs off all the dead skin but isn’t sucked dry of any moisture due to the avocado butter in it! My boyfriend also loves it as a beard scrub :) -
Dempster’s Smooth Multigrains Bread
