I received this product free from Butterly in exchange for my honest review. This is a very interesting product, never tried anything like it. After shampooing, I squeezed out the excess water and applied into my palm and into the length of my hair. It’s easy to spill so I appreciate the squeeze bottle for dispensing. I didn’t experience any tingling or heat which the product packaging said might happen. I left it in for about 5-10 minutes before rinsing. My hair after leaving it to air dry was very smooth, soft/silky and frizz free. My hair also was detangled and healthy looking. I found it really interesting that my hair didn’t need any leave in conditioner. Overall a good product that smells nice and love that it’s cruelty free. I don’t see myself reaching for a product like this but it was fun to use. -

I received this product from Butterly in exchange for my honest review. Like all Garnier products, this smells amazing and lingers in your hair all day. I usually apply this in wet hair so I’m not sure how it would feel in dry hair. It helps prevent my hair from getting frizzy and keeps it damp for a long time which leads me to think it’s really locking in moisture and creating a barrier. I love the convenience and the control of a spray product; this bottle will last a long time too. The product is like a light creamy texture which my hair absorbed immediately. After my hair dried, it looked healthy, smooth, shinny and frizz free; which is what I hope for in a product like this. I’ve also noticed my hair rarely gets tangled now. It will be interesting to see how well this holds up in the humid summers here in Canada. Overall a really nice product which I hope in time will help my hair grow healthier, faster and tangle free! -

I’m not really into the whole double cleanse or cleansing oils but, this one did a great job removing all my makeup including mascara. This is not irritate my very sensitive skin despite having fragrance, but it did sting my eyes which is soemthing I don’t like in a cleansing product for the face. My skin felt very hydrated and clean after removal and my skin was silky smooth. Overall a nice cleansing oil. -

I was so excited to try this mascara. I love a bristle brush so I really enjoyed the application of this. The bristles allowed for great lash separation and NO clumping or flaking at all! The curve to the brush I found didn’t really do anything for giving my lashes a curl. My lashes looked dark, long and felt so soft after application. I do like length and volume for a more dramatic lash so I did apply many coats. This mascara is not an overly wet formula so you do have to apply the coats fairly quick after each other. I love the added hyaluronic acid in this product, I’m sure with continued use I would see changes to my lashes, more full or “plumped”. If you are looking for a dramatic look, this is not the mascara for you, I get length but not much volume, more of a “natural” type look, but still very nice. Overall a great basic mascara which I really enjoyed how soft and lightweight my lashes felt wearing as well as when removed. I’m also happy to wear this product for being cruelty free as well as gentle on the eyes. -

I found this cream lightweight yet very hydrating, almost too much for my oily T-zone; my skin got oily very fast while using this. It definitely has helped with any dry spots I’ve had during our cold, windy, winter and hasn’t aggravated my sensitive breakout prone skin despite the added fragrance. I also noticed my skin to be extremely soft and smooth after use, which we always love with skincare. Overall a nice face cream if you don’t mind the fragrance; would be great for more dry, dehydrated skin types. -

I was so excited to receive this product free from Chick Advisor in exchange for my honest review. I love that it’s plant based, recyclable packaging and now cruelty-free! This shampoo has a little too much fragrance for my liking but it doesn’t linger heavily and doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin and scalp. The shampoo feels gentle and leaves my hair feeling soft and shinny. Overall it’s a great eco friendly product that my mom and I both enjoy! Next time I’d like to try the other scents. -

This is the best stain remover I have ever used. I love the convenience of the spray bottle as it’s so much cleaner and convenient than using a powder product. I love that I can spray larger or more specified areas. This has taken out all kinds of stains from blood to oil which I am constantly getting on my scrubs working at a vet clinic. I come home with giant stains from ear medication or creams etc. Spraying a generous amount and agitating the product with a scrub brush seems to work the best. If I don’t get all of the stain the first time, it’ll definitely come out the next time! Love that the smell isn’t too overpowering though it could be a nicer smell. Fantastic product I will use as long as it’s on the market, a holy grail for my laundry! -

Tylenol is always something I keep in the house and in my purse. I am allergic to ibuprofen and all NSAIDs, but I’m lucky to have Tylenol extra strength for my store body and muscle aches. I don’t find it gives any pain relief for my headaches but that is mostly just me. I’ve had many instances of friends and family needing a pain relief for their headaches and muscle aches, glad to always have these to help. Love that you can find these anywhere and easily order online too. I think I prefer the white caplets over the red coated tablets, I find they start to work faster;everyone’s body is different though. -

I always like my face creams to have minimum 30 SPF broad spectrum, which Vichy’s Aqualia Thermal Moisturizer does! At first glance, I fell in love with the gorgeous baby blue tinted and glass bottle. I feel like the product is very sanitary being in glass as well as a handy pump which gives me the perfect amount of product for my whole face. I love that the cream seems dense but is so lightweight and soft on the skin. I use this every morning after my shower and feel the cream soak in so quickly while hydrating my skin with the added hyaluronic acid. I can trust that my skin will stay hydrated for 24hrs with the added HA and my barrier will be protected from harmful UV rays. I love especially that this product is truly fragrance free. Having sensitive, reactive acne prone skin, this is a really great product formulated with care for the skin. The only downside I have found is that it sometimes doesn’t get the odd dry patch, which I can only see when I apply my face powder. I find a second layer massaged into the spots helps though. -

This mascara stood up to its name “Bambi Eye” giving me fluttery and “eye opening” lashes with ease.
The formula dries very fast and has little to no scent for people with sensitive eyes like me. I put this mascara to the test all week as I had a lot of family parties, and was able to achieve this look every time!
This mascara has a flexible wand that allows you to get to and separate every lash without spidery, clumpy lashes(which I don’t mind). I found that the design of the brush is basically foolproof for messes; I’m always getting black all over my eyelids 😖
What I didn’t like about this mascara? Mostly that it’s not cruelty free - Come on L’Oréal! Another that it does not layer well, which I am always doing to achieve volume(this is not a volumizing mascara, mostly just lengthening I found)I think this is due to its fast drying formula. I also felt my lashes were a bit crunchy and not as soft and “lash like” as I am used to with other brands I’ve used.
Overall, I give this mascara a 4/5 as it does what it says and creates long, flirty lashes with ease. I also love the stand-out packaging and will definitely be a mascara I reach for! Next time I’ll have to try it in the “blackest black” colour as I like having dark, stand out lashes.
