I have used many different hair colours, and this is definitely my favourites. In many ways it is similar to all of the other hair colour kits on the market - same consistency, procedure and smell. But there are a few things that make this one stand out. First, it has a pre-colouring serum that you apply to the ends of your hair to help protect the fragile ends from getting overly brittle, which can happen easily with repeated colouring.
The other thing that I LOVE about this product is that it has a second applicator cap that is like a comb, and I find that it makes applying the product evenly 100 percent easier and faster than the typical applicator tip. I comb my hair through first, and then this comb applicator just slides right through the hair, saturates the roots, and makes it easier to spread the product right through to the ends. It is very effective, and I think that all brands are going to have to follow suit soon.
The other thing that I like about this brand is that even though I use the medium golden blonde, it doesn't go brassy the way many of the other brands do, which tells me that it's a better quality product.
I paid quite a bit for this last time I bought it (I was at Shoppers, and wanted to colour my hair right away), but you can generally get it at a much more reasonable price at WalMart, and it also goes on sale quite often at the supermarket.

What I love about Crest Pro-Health is that in addition to the many oral health benefits, it has a great flavour, leaves my mouth totally clean and fresh, and doesn't give that burning feeling in my mouth that you get with traditional mouth wash. That burning feeling is because of alcohol, but Crest Pro-Health is alcohol-free. The price is comparable with other leading mouth washes, but I think that it is a much better product than the others. -

While it did remove my eye makeup - even waterproof mascara - I found that because of its creamy texture a cotton ball or pad wouldn't absorb it, so it always got into my eyes and made them cloudy and stingy. I always had to rinse my eyes with water and rub my eyelashes for relief. A very unpleasant experience that I don't care to repeat.

As to the question of whether I recommend them, "You Betcha!" is maybe an overstatement. If there were something in between, like "Sure, okay," that would better reflect my level of enthusiasm. Then again, how enthusiastic can we really get about these kinds of things??

I bought this on sale, so the price was excellent, but the regular price is a bit high. It's worth the money though. I liked the consistency and texture of it, and the fact that a little goes a long way. It left my skin soft, and not sticky. I bought the lemongrass/mint/rosemary scent, and it was lovely. It was a nice, light scent, not overpowering or sickly sweet like some of them tend to be. Aveeno has a good reputation, and this lives up to it. -

I was looking for a pale pink nail polish, but didn't want to spend a lot of money. I passed by the $8 to $12 nail poishes and tried a couple of very inexpensive brands. Big mistake. The first one was chipping and "creasing" within a couple of hours of applying it. The second one didn't do much better. So I was going to break down and buy a more expensive one instead of throwing my money away on cheap ones that are no good. But I decided to give one more brand a shot.
So for about $3.50 I bought Rimmel's French Manicure Pro in #140 French Rose. It claimed to be "Super durable, chip resistant" and says that it will last "Up to 10 Days." The first thing I noticed was that it has a short, fat applicator brush, which I liked because you can cover your nail with just a couple of strokes. The downside to this, however, is that you have less precision around the cuticles. The coverage was fairly even - not perfect, but not bad. The second coat evened it out pretty well. It dried pretty quickly too, which is important to me because I'm impatient and start to do things too soon, which means I often end up with smudged or creased nail polish. Not with this one.
It lived up to its promise to be durable and chip resistant - I'm not sure about a full 10 days, but it was definitely a week before I started getting any chips in it. By then I'm usually ready for a change anyway.
So, while normally I'd say that if you go for a cheap nail polish you're going to get cheap results, this nail polish gave decent results at an excellent price.

It's hard to believe, but this cheap little roll-on anti-perspirant keeps me drier than any other anti-perspirant I have ever used, even some of the more expensive brands. I have had a hard time finding an anti-perspirant that keeps me feeling dry and odorless all day, and this one does the trick - completely dry, all day.
Except when I first put it on! Because it's a roll-on it goes on pretty wet (but not sticky), so I have to wait a while before I put my shirt on. That's the only downside, but it's not the end of the world. It doesn't leave a lot of white marks on my clothes (even if I'm in a hurry and put my shirt on before it's dry), it doesn't have a strong perfume (just a very light lavender scent), and you can often get it on sale for 99 cents. When it goes on sale, I buy a half-dozen, and I'm good to go. One bottle lasts about a month, which is about average.
This is a good product at a great price. There are other things I would rather spend my money on than anti-perspirant!

I love Lush. Their all-natural creams and cosmetics are good enough to eat! This hand cream is one of my favourite things that they sell. I LOVE the smell of it - it makes me happy when I use it!
It comes in a little pot, so you can scoop out just the right amount, so you're never going to squeeze out too much and have to start looking around for someone to share it with. The pot lasts quite a while, so it's a good value too.
It has a nice, non-greasy texture, and leaves my hands truly soft like silk - it's not just a cliche! The moisture penetrates deeply, so my hands are soft for quite a long time, even if I wash them.
Lush makes great stuff, and this hand cream is a good example

If all you want is for your hair to be clean, and you don't want to spend a fortune, this will do the trick. For this price, you're not going to get a lot of bells and whistles, but it's a nice shampoo to use. It has a soft cucumber scent, a pearly green colour, and light, creamy texture. It lathers up quite well, and rinses away clean. I have coloured hair, and I don't want a shampoo that is going to dry my hair out, and this one doesn't, although I wouldn't say that it is super-moisturizing. I like the Dove line of shampoos, and unless you want a really top-of-the-line shampoo, this one is a good choice. -

I always have a hard time with mascaras. They tend to smudge, and often get into my eyes causing my eyes to run and burn (almost always when I'm driving!). I used to use the famous Mabelline pink bottle/green wand mascara, but I guess you get what you pay for. This Mary Kay mascara is expensive, but it's absolutely worth it.
This is the first mascara that I have ever had that stays put when I use it - all day! It's not waterproof, but the odd time that I have been emotional while wearing it, it still didn't run. It really lengthens my lashes and makes them look full and plump, and even after a couple of months using it, it's not getting all clumpy. I have occasionally used mascaras from the department store beauty counters (Clinique, Estee Lauder, Christian Dior) and this mascara rivals those in quality.
