I had the opportunity to try Clarins Double Serum for free through Butterly. I tried it for a week as directed. I found that if I used the amount recommended, it left my face feeling greasy. It did leave my skin feeling hydrated and supple. After a week I noticed a slight difference in the wrinkles on my forehead, although it was negligible & I’m unsure if it was just time of day. I do feel as though it made a difference in my skin tone. It does not look as dull. Overall I would recommend this product. #gotitfree #doubleserum #clarinsskincare -

I've never used an oil cleanser before. It glides on easily & I was impressed at it's ability to remove makeup. But even better than than, it is created with 8 essential naturally sourced oils incl Japanese camellia oil (tsubaki flower), squalane & ginseng to nourish your skin. It doesn't have much of a scent, but what's there is pleasant & light. I've only used it 4 days in a row so far and already I feel like I have more of a glow to my face than usual, which is great because my skin seems to have gotten a little dull in the last few years. I'm excited to see how much more this cleansing oil will do for me! -

I had the opportunity to try Covergirls’ Simply Ageless Lash Plumping Mascara. #gotitfree It boasts a 3-in-1 primer, serum & mascara formula that is good for your lash line & lashes & will make them thicker, longer & stronger in 4 weeks! I wear mascara every day, so I like the idea of having a mascara that will actually nourish my lashes. It is infused with hyaluronic acid & bamboo serum! The curved brush made it easy to apply. It lived up to it’s claim of being able to build volume without clumping. It feels feathery soft, light & washes off easily. I had the opportunity to try Chapman's No Sugar Added, Lactose Free Ice Cream, in Salty Caramel & Peanuts. I was skeptical going into this one, as a sugar addicted dairy lover...no sugar added AND lactose free?? Is lactose the thing that makes things taste good? I was about to find out.
I was pleasantly surprised first off that the texture was nice. It was creamy & smooth & a bit light. Even the vanilla part of the ice cream without any ripple in it tasted a little like salted caramel, and the ripples themselves have that nice distinctive salted caramel flavour. I wouldn't have guessed it was a no sugar added product, as the sweetness seemed on par. Also, considering it is sweetened using maltitol and sucralose, I was also happy it didn't leave behind that funny taste that other products that use sugar alcohols can sometimes have.
As a person who likes their ice cream LOADED with things, I would've liked more nuts or more ripples of salted caramel, but for the average person, there are enough ripples and nuts evenly scattered throughout the tub to ensure every scoop has some.
Overall, we have a winner! I'd you're trying to cut back on sugar and/or need a lactose free product, go ahead & indulge! You won't be disappointed 😊

Ice cream is my go-to snack/dessert. I enjoy it on pretty much a daily basis. There's never really a time that I don't want ice cream, so when I had the opportunity to review Breyers Natural Vanilla Ice Cream for free, I was very excited! 😃
It has the consistency you would expect from a premium brand of ice cream, nice & thick, rich & creamy. It's the kind of ice cream you want to savour a little before going back for the next spoonful. The vanilla flavor was nice, not too powerful, but still noticable. As someone who loves chunks of cookies and chocolate and all sorts of things mixed into my ice cream, I found this also made a fantastic base. That being said, it is wonderful all on it's own! 😊 Breyers Natural Vanilla Ice Cream is decadent enough that one bowl of it leaves you satisfied (which for me is saying a lot!😉)

As a huge fan of Nutella, I was skeptical about Kraft's version of the heavenly spread, but I was pleasantly surprised! It has slightly more hazelnut flavour & isn't as thick /sticky, which is nice, as it means it can spread a little easier. Also I don't think it was quite as sweet as Nutella, although it definitely still has that yummy chocolatey deliciously indulgent flavour that keeps you going back for more! My sample didn't last long, wish there was more. -

I wash my hands a lot, so they get dry. I also exercise every day with weights and have started forming rough callouses on my hands, something I do not want! I had an opportunity to try Aveeno Restorative Skin Therapy Repairing Cream. I used it once or twice during the day, and once at night before bed. After 2-3 days of minimal use, I have noticed that my hands do not feel rough and my callouses are smooth! It has no strong or offensive odor, it absorbs nicely and leaves a nice feeling on my hands. It is not greasy, and even after washing my hands, they do not feel as dry as usual. It is very exciting to get these kind of results so quickly with only a few uses! A fantastic product! -

I waited until my hair was in dire need of a dry cleansing. I am used to using Batiste dry shampoo (spray), so I first worked the foam into my roots. I didn't feel like it did as nice of a job as the dry shampoo does. I have naturally curly hair, that I straighten. When I applied it to my roots, I noticed that my hair did start to curl a little, so it wasn't as "dry" as I had hoped for & felt that it did leave a little bit of a residue if used in significant quantities.
What I did like about this product over the usual dry shampoo though, is that it can be used down the length of your hair. I used a smaller amount & just lightly ran it through the rest of my hair to refresh it & give it a nice smell (it smells amazing!). Using it this way seemed to leave no residue & did not make my hair go curly.
I love how easily the product comes out & foams up. I would recommend this product to be used in conjunction with Batiste dry shampoo for roots, and the foam for the rest of your hair.

On a recent trip to Costco, I was excited to get already cheap pizza on sale. I hoped this would be my go-to answer on those evenings when exhaustion takes over & you just want something simple & quick for dinner. Unfortunately, this pizza was a huge let down. Usually Costco brands are great, but this one left a overly salted film in my mouth. I couldn't even finish my portion & my husband felt the same. What a shame. At least Costco has a fabulous return policy! -
