When it comes to facial hair removal, my typical go-to method is to carefully pluck as many tiny hairs as I can while nearly pressing my face to the mirror. With the Nair Prep & Smooth formula and applicator, this process is made much easier where you just need to slather on the hair removal formula, wait 10 minutes, and wipe off! The ball-tip applicator makes applying the formula so simple and mess-free and during the wait-time, you can see the tiny hairs krinkle up as the formula does its magic breaking down the keratin in the hair, making them weak enough to wipe off. As someone who has sensitive skin (and eczema), the formula did leave a tad of redness, but eventually faded after a few minutes applying a bit of moisturizer. -

When it comes to facial hair removal, especially those light but kinda-obvious-if-you-stare-very-close hairs above the lip, the tweezer are typically my preferred tool for removal - simple but quick and easy. However, after having tried Parissa's face & lip hot wax kit, I may have converted! The kit came with a mini saucepan filled with wax, wooden stir sticks, and ultra soothing oil. The mini saucepan is pretty neat and can be placed on an electric stove on low setting to heat up the wax. The was just takes roughly 8 minutes to become a thick honey-like consistency. Like any wax product, it can be a bit messy applying the wax on the stir stick and then onto your skin. Once applied, the wax firms up pretty quickly (within a minute) and is quite seamless when it comes to removal. With one swift pull, I was quite amazed with the tiny hairs that were pulled away without leaving my skin red or irritated! The ultra soothing oil that comes in the kit helped nourish my skin after waxing, leaving it calm and unirritated. Overall quite impressed with this face & lip hot wax kit and am looking forward to giving other products in the Parissa product line a try! -

Very satisified with the new Colgate Total Whitening Toothpaste Gel! While the texture is similar to other toothpaste brands, I quite enjoyed the blue/white minty swirl creating a fantastic cleaning experience. The paste is smooth, refreshing leaving a long-lasting minty taste, without any toothpaste grit left behind. Teeth certainly feel cleaner after use, however, will need 2-3 more weeks worth of usage to fully determine the whitening capabilities of this toothpaste. -

The soap itself did the job, gently cleansing after a long day's of work without stripping skin of natural oils or leaving it too dry. Scent-wise, it wasn't overpowering but light leaving a refreshing, cool scent that lingers after the shower. -

Very fortunate to have had the opportunity to try out the Ultime8 Sublime Beauty Cleansing Oil from shu uemura. Having used micellar water as my go-to for removing makeup, dirt, and excess oils, I was excited to give a cleansing oil a try! The cleansing oil from shu uemura is formulated with an impressive collection of 8 botanical oils, of which aid in not only lifting impurities and makeup effortlessly, but also help in making your skin softer, hydrated, and toned after just 2 weeks of regular usage. Having never tried a cleansing oil before, I was initially concerned that this product would leave an oily residue, clog my pores, and/or make my face even more sensitive than it already is, but amazingly, the shu uemura oil did not do any of those! -

Very fortunate to have had the opportunity to test out the new Simply Ageless Mascara from Cover Girl. Overall I was quite impressed with the formula for this particular mascara - the mascara was the right consistency and didn't create any clumps, even after up to 4 coats on my eyelashes. The mascara does wonders, with the help of a curved bristled brush, transforming my naturally-short eyelashes into voluminous, lengthened, and defined eyelash wonders! As well, I am quite impressed with the addition of hyaluronic acid and bamboo serum ingredients into the mascara formula, and instantaneously saw the effects making my eyelashes softer and plumper upon application! -

Being an avid user of eyeliner to define my eyes, I am overall impressed with the L'Oreal Paris Infallible Super Slim Eyeliner I had the opportunity to test courtesy of ChickAdvisor. I love how the tip of this pen super thing (0.4 mm) allowing you to make smooth, defined thin lines without any creases or smudging. The eyeliner does live up to it's ability to last 12 hours all day without smudging and is great for those long workdays or outings where you're spending time outdoors. -

For a $8 mascara, this is amazing! I'm always on the search for my next go-to mascara and the L'Oréal Paris Voluminous Original Mascara has satisfied my quest! I love how this mascara goes on very smoothly, it just takes three light strokes to not only coat and define your eyelashes but lengthen and voluminize them making your eyelashes stand out without looking clumpy. I'm impressed with how quickly the mascara dries with three coats - so quick that when I put my glasses back on, my lengthened eyelashes don't leave out mascara residue when it accidentally brushes my glass lenses. Formulated with hydrating D-Panthenol and Ceramide-R help to protect and condition lashes is a wonderful bonus to help nourish eyelashes! Additionally the mascara passes the waterproof test, not leaving any smudges after a long work-day and is perfect for those who have sensitive eyes. -

Being an avid face serum user, I was ecstatic to have the opportunity to try out the L'Oreal Paris Revitalift Triple Power LZR Anti Aging 1.5% Hyaluronic Acid Serum complimentary from ChickAdvisor. The packaging of the face serum itself felt luxe - loved the sleek glass bottle and the serum dropper which effectively dispenses the right amount of serum drops without leaking too much excess. The serum itself has a nice velvety texture and appreciate how it wasn't sticky and dries very quickly. When applied and massaged onto the face and neck areas, the serum absorbs very quickly without leaving any noticeable sticky residue. After 2 weeks of regular usage of this serum both as part of my morning and nighttime routine, I noticed that my skin felt much smoother, brighter, and moisturized and definitely helped hydrate some dry patches on the sides of my face. Overall super impressed with this new serum released by L'Oreal, especially for someone who has sensitive and dry skin. For a ~$30 price point this is impressively a very effective face serum that deserves to be part of anyone's daily skincare regime! -
