Maybelline New York Great Lash Mascara
I've used this mascara for years. After trying others, I still think this is the overall best for quality, price, performance, coverage. Best part it's not waterproof so no need to scrub it off. However, it's becoming hard to find.

I purchased this product in error, but glad I did. I like the brush. Mascara goes on smooth and relatively even. I find if i'm not careful it can be applied as a "clump". Make sure you don't have too much on the brush. It's waterproof which isn't my favorite. For that reason I wouldn't purchase it again unless I had no other option. Otherwise a decent product. -

Great product. Scrubs most things clean. A bit on the pricy side given that it disintegrates as you use it. Also, need to be careful not to wash off the paint on the walls.

I first bought this in a small travel size. I became totally in love with yet another Dove product. Cool scent, non sticky. Keeps me dry and doesn't stain clothes.

Arm & Hammer Pure Baking Soda
Sometimes when our pots and pans get a bit burned, we sprinkle some Baking Soda and add water. Bring to a boil for a few minutes. You might have to stir to get the sides. Then, voila, your burnt on bits have come away. Takes less than 2 minutes... +

Also, great for brushing teeth.
Wish the price was a bit lower as I use this for many cleaning needs.

Easy Off Oven Cleaner for cold ovens

None of us like to clean and scrub cookie sheets, baking pans and oven racks. But sometimes we just have to. I have a self cleaning oven but I don't leave my racks inside during the high-heat cleaning process. I learned (with my last oven) that the racks turn brown and get discolored. They always look dirty. So I started to take the racks and spray them with the Easy Off cleaner for cold ovens. Works beautifully.
I usually line my cookie sheets and various pans with Silpat. But sometimes it's just not possible. When scrubbing and elbow grease just doesn't do the trick I spray the spots with Easy Off Oven Cleaner for Cold ovens and it comes off beautifully.
Although I try to keep chemicals to a minimum, sometimes it's required when baking soda doesn't do the trick.

Hey ladies, did you know that if you color your hair with the wrong hair color or you want to wash it out more quickly, you can use Head and Shoulders? Yes, that's right. I've been using the same hair color for a number of years and it was discontinued. I switched to another brand and didn't like the highlights. Head and Shoulders is a "heavier" shampoo and with about 6 washes the color faded out enough that I could recolor. -

I recently had a small grease stain on one of my best blouses. I wanted to wear it to a function and didn't have time to take it to the dry cleaners. So I thought, if Dawn is great for those little ducklings in the commercial, I'd try it on my chiffon blouse. It worked beautifully. I gently washed the entire blouse and it came out better than dry cleaning. Who knew.! We've switched to only Dawn in the kitchen as well. -
