When I think aloe vera, I expect a gel. Adding some witch hazel shouldn't change that, but this is just a liquid. This disappointed me and detracts from the ways I expected to use it (skin irritations).
It is also lightly scented. Kinda flowery. I would have preferred honest witch hazel scent.
Other than that, it seems like a good toner and I can still use it with makeup pads.

I used to feel icky all the time after using sunscreen and my facial wash would not remove it but then I learned that using makeup remover would actually take care of that. This one is really effective, especially with waterproof sunscreens !! -
