My old dishwasher was starting to be more problems than it was worth, and the latest repair bill would have been over $300 ... so new dishwasher it was. After reading several hundred (!) online reviews, I went with the Bosch Ascenta dishwasher. Regularly it retails for $949 but was on sale for $699. Best money I've spent in a long time. My dishes are so ridiculously clean, it's like I've stood at the sink scrubbing for a long time. It's whisper quiet and I love the idea of the stainless steel tub. Great product! -

Fantastic product! I woke up this morning in a rush (just like most mornings) and remembered I had to be out the door to a dentist appointment - no time to wash my hair! Grabbed the bottle of Dove Refresh dry shampoo that I received from Chick Advisor (#gotitfree thanks again!) and sprayed a bit just on my roots. Rubbed it in my fingertips and moments later, I was ready to go! There was a noticeable difference in my hair after just a few squirts of product. And the scent is AMAZING, so light and fresh. I previously tried a different brand dry shampoo from a salon, and while it worked, it was almost $30 - just checked walmart.ca and the product is on sale for less than $3!! Time to stock up!!! -

I'll stick with my 'other brand' silicone free shampoo for now. -
Certo Liquid Pectin
I used Certo Liquid Pectin for a batch of grape jelly - so easy to use! Once it's added to the juice, it boils for one minute and the jam is ready! Helps the jelly set perfectly.

The normal price for this product seems to be $3 +, but it was on sale for $1.99 so I thought I'd give it a try. While it was a very effective product, I didn't like the scent! It seemed to be to be very light at first, but as the day went on, I found the more I sweat, the stronger the scent became! i suppose that means the product is working very hard to be an effective one, but by the end of the day, I couldn't wait to shower it off. I've used Degree before and found it to be a very likeable product, but I'm not struck on this one (but only because of this particular fragrance). -

I started using this body wash about a week ago. It worked so well, my hubby and kids tried it out as well - positive results all around. The price was $3.99 for a 532 ml bottle, which is a great price point. The scent is out of this world fantastic, fresh and energizing ... I can see using it in the middle of the winter to help lift spirits during a dull day! It rinses really well, no stickiness or residue left behind. All around great product, two thumbs way up! -

It's a little pricey when not on sale, but it does contain actual real fruit, so at least the cost is justified. -
Dare Bear Paws Banana Bread
My kids and I love Dare's Bear Paws, specifically the banana bread flavour. Sure, it could have less sugar, but it's a nice snack ... I love a packet of them with a cup of tea! They're great for on the go families.
