This body oil absorbs into the skin and leaves it soft, smooth and not greasy. My skin still feels soft the next day. And wow is the scent ever amazing! Warm, sweet and subtle. It doesn't have that tickle-your-nose feeling I get from some scents. If you have scent sensitivities then this may not be for you or you may want to go in person the smell first to decide. The bottle is glass and minimal and would look good on your counter if you chose to leave it out. Additionally, the box that the bottle came in has braille on the outside which I think is an important initiative for that few brands take on! A beautiful way to add a little luxury into your daily routine.

This is a tasty pizza and the perfect size for a snack or lunch if paired with a side. There is a good amount of veggies and they actually taste like vegetables! Sometimes frozen vegetables taste like they've been soaking in water and are lacking in flavour but these actually tasted like they're supposed to. I tried cooking in both a toaster oven and air fryer and I definitely recommend the air fryer for a wonderfully crispy crust and ready in just 5 minutes! They're both dairy and gluten free and only have 330 calories per pizza so I think this could work for many people's diets. It tastes identical to a regular thin crust pizza. They use Daiya oat blend cheese which melts well but I just wish there were more of it. I like a good amount of cheese on my pizza and desperately wanted a cheese pull moment! Each box comes with 2 individually wrapped pizzas so you can easily store the second in the freezer without worrying about re-wrapping and sealing. I think this is a great pizza for all tastes but particularly for those who are on gluten and dairy free diets. -

These Nam Fruits jackfruit chips are super yummy! They're made with real fruit and no artificial flavours or added sugar. They're not too sweet (the ultimate compliment in my house). And they are made with just jackfruit and coconut oil! They are light and super crispy. Very addictive actually so I'm glad they are healthy! Jackfruit is also a less common flavour so I love that they have this as an option! It's a nice to have on hand for a snack, to add to trail mixes or yogurt bowls (for those times when you can't get to the grocery store). I've also tried their banana chips and mango slices and they are also delicious! -

I like that these are clean and made in Canada! The clean ingredients and gummy form opens it up for more people with specific dietary needs. Some people have troubles swallowing pills so I like that there's an alternative for them. The taste of the supplement is supposed to be blackberry, blueberry, and peach, but I would say it's mostly blackberry. The gumminess is a little less chewy than another gummy supplement I currently take which I don't necessarily mind but it definitely is different. It has less bounce and chew to it. The texture is also slightly grittier and less smooth. You are supposed to take these apart from other supplements and for this reason, I kept forgetting to take it. This is an issue for me overall with supplements and for that reason I try to take things that play well together. Overall I think this is a good alternative for those that are looking for a supplement with the gluten, sugar, alcohol free, etc nature and enjoy eating gummies.

I really enjoyed this Goldy's Superseed Instant Oatmeal Protein+. It's made with gluten free oats, chia, pumpkin and sunflower seeds which give you 10g of protein and 5g of fibre! And it's made in a nut free facility so that more people may enjoy it. It's ready in about 2-3 minutes so it's great for busy mornings. I tried it with both hot water and heating with milk in the microwave. I prefer the hot water method for ease of mixing and no messes - but with milk is much more rich and creamy. I think the next time, I will try with hot water at first to mix and then add in milk to help make it creamy until it's *just right* - get it? Goldy's? Just right?
The maple flavour really comes through and it's sweetened just right for me. Not too sweet - again, just right!! I was hoping for a bit more crunch in the seeds but it did add enough of a different texture to the soft oatmeal. I would just likes more of it! Overall, I would recommend this instant oatmeal. It's quick, easy, delicious and filling! All the things you need to start your day off right!

These Vesper Bites Peach Bellini Gummies have a good peach flavour to them. They taste less artificial than conventional peach flavoured gummy candies. The heart shape is fun and is a fun idea to add to a cocktail. The packaging is pretty so it would be a nice gift or added to to a basket for a hostess gift or birthday or Mothers Day. Maybe make a basket with peach puree and sparkling wine or beverage to make your own Bellinis. Overall, I really enjoyed these gummies.

I love the health benefits of this date sugar: It's high in fiber, potassium, magnesium,
and it's low glycemic. For that reason, I think it makes a great sugar substitute. I also love that this is made with just one ingredient - organic dates and is made in Canada. And it tastes good. It's not quite as sweet as regular sugar, which I like. It tastes different and I'm fine with it. I actually enjoyed the taste of it. What I didn't like was the texture. It is a fine powder on its own but once you add it to things, it has a mind of it's own. I tried adding it to tea and coffee but it just doesn't mix well. It ends up clumping and not wanting to dissolve into the hot liquid and just floats at the top. I tried using it in a recipe for a chocolate sauce and it just thickened and texturized the sauce, making it less smooth. I did try the sauce after leaving it in the fridge overnight and it was a little bit better but still had a slight gritty. I finally landed on a mug cake recipe where the texture of the sugar wasn't as noticeable. So I would suggest using this sugar in baking and cooking in recipes where you don't need the consistency to be smooth. I really really wanted to love this sugar but I feel like it fell short you can't add it to tea or coffee and you have to be mindful of what recipes you're cooking. For that reason I can't recommend it as in absolute substitute for refined sugar. But, if you're looking for a substitute for refined sugar for baking and perhaps cooking, this does seem like a nice, sustainable and healthy alternative.

These Wild Tusker Pineapple Coconut Fun Bites are a delicious snack packed with the vibrant flavours of sweet and tangy pineapple and rich and nutty coconut. They smell AMAZING. Like opening a jar of coconut oil. They are super crunchy and kind of addictive. The small size probably keeps me from eating way too many in one sitting! These would be perfect to keep on you while on the go, school lunches, picnics. They are also super light, they would be ideal for a camping trip. I appreciate that they're made in small batches, certified organic, gluten-free, vegan and made with only 6 clean ingredients. There's no artificial colors, preservatives, or flavours. So if you like real coconut vs artificial coconut flavour, these could be the snack for you!

Rude Mama Passionfruit hot sauce is a bright, fragrant and flavourful sauce. It's well balanced with sweetness of the passionfruit, fiery spice from the thai chilis and tartness from apple cider vinegar. This actually tastes like a home made sauce (like homemade by someone who knows what they're doing). It's hand crafted locally here in Toronto and made in small batches from premium Canadian ingredients. It's based off a central Vietnamese recipe so I knew it would work well with my silken tofu recipe. The sauce is a base which can have ingredients swapped and added like sugar if you want a bit of sweetness. But because this Rude Mama sauce was already so balanced and had the sweetness from the passionfruit and cane sugar, there was no need to add more. The use of apple cider vinegar also added a depth of flavour vs just a regular white vinegar. The heat is mild to medium so it will make you sweat but not blow out your taste buds. Overall, I really loved this sauce and can't wait to make more dishes with it.

Bisou Earl Grey Crème tea is a twist on Earl Grey tea, adding the rich flavour of vanilla, and floral osmanthus petals to the classic bergamot flavoured black tea. The tea sachets come packed in a sealed plastic bag inside the box. When I opened it - wow - the aroma was amazing. I do wish the plastic bag were resealable to keep that wonderful smell in and the tea fresh. I brewed mine straight in the cup (vs a pot) and kept it in a little longer than the suggested 3 minutes since I like mine strong. I paired it with sweetener and milk which resulted in a smooth and comforting cup. The tea is certified organic and ethically sourced. The sachets are free of plastics, chemicals and dyes and are biodegradable. Overall, it's a good tea with a lovely aroma from a local company!
