This is a solid mineral sunscreen for body use, especially if you’re looking for high protection with a soothing feel. I personally can’t use it on my face—it’s too thick and tends to sit heavily on the skin, making it uncomfortable under makeup or skincare.
However, it’s excellent for the body, particularly on the neck, chest, and shoulders, where I want ultra protection. The formula contains aloe, which feels calming and helps prevent any irritation, even on sun-exposed or slightly sensitive skin. It’s also water resistant for up to 80 minutes, which is perfect for outdoor activities or beach days.
If you’re after a reliable, soothing, mineral sunscreen for the body, this one checks all the boxes—just not ideal for the face.

The silicone-infused formula made it a bit more flexible than regular caulk. It was simple to use and work with as well as cleaned up easily with water.

I adore the Aveeno calm & restore line so when I received the email that I was selected to test and review their new moisturizer with mineral SPF I was so excited! (I received this product free from Butterly and Aveeno in exchange for my honest review.) This SPF moisturizer is gentle and lightweight on my mature somewhat sensitive skin. It provides all-day moisture and contains 100% mineral actives for broad spectrum UVA/UVB protection. The formula is nourishing and contains pure Colloidal Oatmeal and Feverfew for soothing your skin and leaving it feeling softer and smoother. I am a Fitzpatrick III and there is minimal to no cast. LOVE this addition to the line! -
