Ugh I really can't stand that. That's why I choose Hair Fall Rescue Shampoo by Dove. It make my hair looked more wavy, healthy, less itch and of course my hair does smells good! I would recommend these shampoo to my friends and family. -

Surprisingly lightweight and it holds my hair in place. I personally like the chocolate & strawberry colors. Im not sure how well madammoselle rubber hair ties will work on African hair( no offence) but it was fine for me.
