The first time I used this foundation I would say my skin was in good condition, but not as good as it is now after using The Ordinary skin care. It became a little bit flaky and had uneven coverage which I was really disappointed in because the foundation shade is PERFECT.
After using it in combination with the skin care, it is a much better product. The serums leave my face feeling almost unnaturally soft which is perfect for this foundation. I think they are meant to go together.. because when I use my old foundation now ‘The Ordinary’ serum I use in the morning doesn’t mix with it and it gets peely... but ‘The Ordinary’ foundation is flawless.

I saw this candle in the cutest little purple box at Ikea, of course I had to have it. SO GLAD I DID.
It's been burning on and off for a few months and it's got just a bit left and I am so sad. I usually don't even like the smell of lavender (having had too many lavender macaroons once.. ) but it's so sweet and subtle it actually turned me around from gagging when I smell lavender to taking a big whiff.
Besides the candle itself the packaging and glass it's in are BEAUTIFUL! I use the box it came in for other things and I love it. It's a little pricy if youre comparing it to other Ikea candles, but if youre comparing it to similar candles from other brands I think it's a great price!

IT SMELLS SO GOOD!!! I feel relaxed when I put this on my face in the morning. I use a big fluffy brush but i feel like a powder puff would actually be the best method of application for this product.
It's a good product to even out any imperfections that might be in your foundation. I use this AFTER i've applied setting spray and I find it works much better that way. When I put setting spray on top it does not last all day and looks separated and spotty.

ACTUAL REVIEW:
The applicator is the perfect shape for easy application. If i don't have lip liner I still trust myself to apply this, and that says a lot. You can also re-apply it (if need be.... but it wont) and it won't cake.
It doesn't leave your lips dry at all, but when I apply a chapstick under it of course the application and wear looks better and last longer, so I'd still reccomend it.
Over the course of the day it doens't budge, it doesnt bleed, and it doesnt transfer (too much).

The issue that I had is that the colours do not work well with my skin. (I have pale skin with a gold undertone). The light shade (enhance) is almost too light... for me... I AM ALMOST THE COLOUR OR PAPER.. and the second light colour (Halo) is so pink I use it I use it as blush and eyeshadow.
Princess Cut is the only colour i can put on my face without it turning orange. The colours look so neutral in the pallete but they look almost bright on my face. If i layer Princess Cut with one of the shimmery colours (Crown or Carat) it's not so bad, but I'm going to run out of it before I even get 1/3 of the way through the other colours.

I bought this on a whim when i ran out of my Biotherm moisturizer, and honestly because of the price and quality, I don't think I'm going back!

No flakes, no lines, and doesnt budge! Absolutely perfect, I bought this product a few weeks ago and I can already tell I'm not looking back. It's been a real journey to find a foundation that stays on my skin for my whole shift (I work 12 hour days). It sets very quickly and is more on the full coverage side without being cakey, total win-win. I can not stress how flawless the actual foundation is!
The only slight issue that I have is colour range. I don't know about the darker shades but I found that in the lighter shade options I wished they had some in-betweens. (I'm between Snow and Ivory).The colour I have is slightly too light for my face and I have to make sure I bronze and contour before going out so I don't look sickly, LOL. The shade one darker from it is too dark. With that said, this foundation is so easy to layer other things on to without it caking, it almost doesnt matter. (almost.)

I have never, ever, ever, had a product I look forward to putting on my face every morning as much as this one. It is so easy to apply, it blends seamlessly and looks so smooth on the face. My problem with most highlighters is that they make my face look cakey or bumpy.. this one makes me look like a POLISHED GEM. When I catch glimpses of myself during the day (haaaaaay) I turn a lil to the side just to see that glow. Amazing. Lasts all day and night, it's the only thing I don't have to touch up before going out if I had makeup on all day. -

First off... it definitely works. I see a difference in my skin as soon as I apply this product, the redness in my face starts to fade and I can feel my skin tightening. The only reason I can't give this product the glowing review I want to is because it does NOT sit well under a full face of makeup. But if I'm using a minimal amount of foundation it's totally fine! Under concealer, foundation and contour it really started to almost peel off my face which ended up ruining my makeup for the night, even though I only applied a thin layer. Another unfortunate thing is that the dropper that it comes with is not particularly effective and you may have to you your own eye dropper to get it out of the bottle. -

Before I started using this wash, I was using the Face Soap and Clarity (Soap and Glory) 3-in-1 daily detox vitamin C facial wash. Although I LOOOOVED it, they stopped selling it at the Shoppers Drug Mart near my house :(. So I had to try something new.. and I am SO glad that I did! The beads are so tiny you can barely feel them (which is amazing for sensitive skin like mine so it's not too red when I'm done). When I'm done using it my face feels so clean and theres no flakiness from any dryness because of the exfoliation. Makes me feel like I can skip toner! (But I don't, of course.) It took about a week and a half of use for me to see the difference from my old cleanser, and this one makes my skin sooo soft, even, and even somehow reduced the overall redness on my face! -
