Ok I can’t think of a better Summer face product. I am loving my bb cream and I can’t believe it has been at least 5 years since my last tube. This is a thick and pigmented cream face base that blends in flawlessly with a bit of a summer tan. I usually tan from a tube, not the sun. I think light-medium would be a touch too dark in the winter, but it’s perfect for right now. Unlike with foundation, this product is emollient and never clings to my dry areas. It works wonderfully throughout the day and doesn’t fall of my face. I like to set it with powder for a long lasting finish, the Laura Mercier mineral powder is my go-to right now because it adds a touch of coverage and luminosity. Fabulous -

COLAB dry shampoo is outstanding. And I'm not the only one who feels this way: my friend Sara has gorgeous thick dark hair, and is a diehard COLAB fan as well. It's great to know that us gals with thin, lifeless hair can enjoy COLAB just as much as those with thick and voluminous hair. I wash at least every 2nd day, but Sara's hair lasts 3-5 days between washing so she relies on COLAB a lot to keep her scalp feeling fresh.
The COLAB original version dispenses touchable, soft and invisible powder that soaks up oil and breathes new life into second-day hair. For me, original usually isn’t enough to give me long-lasting volume, so I always layer in some Volume Extreme to the upper portions of my scalp (not near the ears or neck). This adds some serious texture and helps my hair from getting too limp. Love the combo of the two formulas.

This body lotion has a very unique finish on the skin. It is super smooth and almost like a silicone face primer! It feels rich in water while your rubbing it in, and it spreads out very fine. I do like how it hydrates my skin and the light fragrance is good. For the fact that it almost leaves a slippery/synthetic feeling (definitely not oily) it isn’t a 5/5 for me. Very nice, but I do prefer a traditional body butter for a more natural finish. -

This summer I've been trying to use dry shampoo a lot more, and thus have been washing my hair less. I read that sleeping with dry shampoo on your scalp is like sleeping with makeup on, and can clog your pores - causing irritation and breakouts on the scalp. I'll admit that I sometimes still do sleep with dry shampoo in my hair, but this Dove product doesn't seem to bulk up on my scalp or irritate my skin at all. The scent of this product is just wonderful - so fresh, a bit fruity and floral. The mist is fine, and the bottle is easy to use. It seems like there is more product in the can compared to Batiste. The powder itself is not noticable, so I'd say invisible is accurate. My only problem is that it isn't super mattifying. With thin and greasy hair, I do usually look for a dry shampoo that is MORE dry, and that gives a bit more grittiness and texture. I can always combine this with another product to get more lift, so it's just a 3.5/5 for that reason. Like CoLab, I'd love to see a "normal" and "extreme volume" version to target different parts of my hair! I use the normal down the scalp and around my neck, and the extreme goes at the crown and on the sides to give lift.

It's light, refreshing, natural-tasting and comes in a convenient plastic bottle. At $2 CAD you can't go wrong. There's enough in one bottle to last me 2 servings. I also like to dilute my sweet drinks with some sparkling water from the SodaStream, SO GOOD! Will repurchase for sure. -
