Premier Protein Chocolate Shake

I got this shake through chick advisor to try and for the first time I was disappointed. I usually have some similar protein shakes (low sugar, high protein) in my fridge ready to go after a workout so I was really excited to try these. Unfortunately both the chocolate and vanilla shakes taste like chemicals and not something I would ever purchase yet drink regularly, especially knowing there are better options out there. Being low sugar and high protein, I am not expecting a spectacular taste but I cannot drink something that tastes so fake. #gotitfree -

I got this shake through chick advisor to try and for the first time I was disappointed. I usually have some similar protein shakes (low sugar, high protein) in my fridge ready to go after a workout so I was really excited to try these. Unfortunately both the chocolate and vanilla shakes taste like chemicals and not something I would ever purchase, especially knowing there are better options out there. I usually have a high protein snack after a workout and had this after a 90 minute workout after lunch. It was tasty and got me through the rest of the day until dinner. I am picky about the texture of protein bars but this did not bother me and was tasty considering it was a protein bar. I wish there was a bit more of a chocolate and peanut butter flavor but that would probably change the nutrition facts and make it not as healthy. -
