Thanks to ChickAdvisor I was given Dove Style+Care Flexible Hold Hairspray to test and review. I don't use hairspray all that often but I do have some fly-aways and coarse grey hairs on the top of my head that give me some trouble from time to time. This product worked well for taming those stubborn hairs as it was light and flexible which is exactly what I require. The smell was ok, a little too floral for me and a bit too strong. My mom is scent sensitive and she found the smell to be too strong although it didn't last on my hair for too long and the lingering light scent was quite nice. Overall, good value for the price and gets the job done. -

Thanks to ChickAdvisor I was given Dove Pure Care Dry Oil Nourishing Hair Treatment with African Macadamia OIl to test and review. I have been using this product regularly since I received it and I think it does a terrific job at smoothing my dry ends as well as help reduce damage from styling tools. It leaves my hair shiny and soft without looking greasy or oily. A little goes a long way with this stuff! My only criticism is that I found the smell to be very strong. It smelled a lot like baby oil and for someone who can sometimes be sensitive to smell, this one was too strong for me. Other than that, great product and I will continue to use it in my hair care routine going forward. -

Thanks to ChickAdvisor I was given Dove Nutritive Solutions Daily Moisture Conditioner to test and review. I really liked this conditioner. I have dry and damaged hair due to colouring and styling and I found this conditioner did a good job at untangling my hair as well as helping to repair some of the damage. It has a nice scent and did not irritate my scalp. It does a good job at conditioning without weighing my hair down and it washes out clean without leaving any residue. Overall, great conditioner! -

I have thick hair and this worked into a nice lather and washed out easily. It has a very pleasant smell and did not irritate my skin or scalp. My hair felt clean and moisturized afterwards without feeling weighed down. Good product! -

I received this product from ChickAdvisor as part of the Product Review Club to test and review. I have never used Micellar Water cleansers before and I was pleasantly surprised at its effectiveness. It is very easy and quick and cleaned off my face makeup very well. I could see from the cotton pad I used that it indeed was doing a really good job at cleaning off my makeup. It didn't work as well on my waterproof mascara but other than that, it cleaned my face very nicely. It did not irritate or dry out my skin at all. I really liked using this in addition to my usual night facial routine and it works very well first thing in the morning as a skin refresher before applying moisturizer and makeup. Overall, great product! -

Thanks to ChickAdvisor I was given the opportunity to test and review Garnier SkinActive Clearly Brighter Brightening & Smoothing Moisturizer. This moisturizer is nice and light, not oily and has a great fresh scent. It absorbs quickly and did not irritate my sensitive winter skin. I did notice after each application that my skin did look brighter and had a 'highlighted' effect. I like that it contains an SPF and it works well under makeup. This moisturizer will work especially well in the summer months when a light, fast absorbing moisturizer is needed. Overall, great product! -

Thanks to ChickAdvisor my two spoiled pups were given the oportunity to test and review Nutrience Grain Free SubZero dog food in the Canadian Pacific variety. Boy was this kibble a hit with my canine companions! They especially loved the pieces of freeze dried raw and gobbled it all up whenever presented with no hesitation. I used it as treats as well and got the same positive reaction. My one dog has some tummy sensitivities and he had zero issues with this food. The only issue we had was that they wanted more, more, more! In fact, the food must have smelled so good to my furry friends that my two cats demanded I get them a bag as well. I am very impressed with this food and the quality of its ingredients and I will continue to purchase it. Cairo and Olive want you to know this food gets 8 paws up from them! -

I shared the chocolate with my grandparents and we discussed what we thought. This flavour was my Grandpa's favourite by far. He loved "the little crisps that give it a good crunch" and "the cherry tastes real and isn't too sweet". The dark chocolate was nice and smooth with no bitterness. Overall, a really tasty treat! -

Thanks to ChickAdvisor I was given the opportunity to test and review Brookside Chocolate Tablet Bar in Mango Coconut Crunch. I shared the chocolate with my grandparents and we discussed what we thought about it, This bar definitely tasted the sweetest to me out of the 3 flavour varieties I was given to try, however, I loved the overall flavour combination. I am a sucker for all things coconut and this bar did not disappoint! I loved the crunchy texture of the coconut and the slight tang of the mango. The mango flavour would have been too subtle on its own but the addition of coconut really complimented the flavour profile nicely. This was my favourite of the flavour combinations. Really tasty! -

I shared this chocolate with my grandparents and we discussed what we thought of it. It was agreed upon that the chocolate was very smooth and decadent. My grandmother especially loved the pieces of dried blueberry in the chocolate, saying that she "really enjoyed the chew of it". The blueberry was noticeable but not so much as to overpower the flavour of the chocolate. Overall, a really tasty flavour that we all enjoyed. Out of the 3 flavour varieties I was given to try, this one was my grandma's favourite. -
