I tried the Adrien Gagnon Decadent Fudge Nutriforme Bars after receiving them as part of the Chickadvisor Review Club. The first bar I tried seemed to leave a little bit of an aftertaste. The bar had a little bit of a bitter flavour. I didn't mind the taste, but did find those things to be obvious. The subsequent bars seemed to grow on me. The did fill me up and satisfy my sweet tooth at the same time. I would likely purchase these again in the future. -

I was selected to try Vichy Idealia Skin Sleep for free through Chickadvisor. The first thing I noticed was the container. I loved the look of it. Most creams come in tubes, and it was nice to have an attractive jar that I wouldn't mind leaving out on my bathroom counter. When I opened it, I noticed that the scent was light and refreshing. I sometimes am unhappy with the consistency of night creams, but as soon as I applied it to my skin and started to massage it in, I noticed a difference between this cream and my usual night cream. The Vichy Idealia Skin Sleep cream had a wonderful consistency. It felt really light but you could feel it working like as you apply it. I woke up feeling that it had kept my skin more hydrated and moisturized more efficiently than my usual night cream, without feeling greasy or oily. -

I received Vichy Idealia Life Serum for a free product review through Chickadvisor. I used the Vichy Idealia Life Serum and was overall pleased with the results. My general opinion was that the Vichy Idealia Life Serum is a really nice moisturizer. I thoroughly enjoyed the fragrance and thought that the pink minerals that sparkled gave it a nice appearance. I did notice some minor changes, however did not notice any dramatic changes, such as refined pores, or dark spots fading. I tend to have large pores on my nose and I was hoping that I would see a visible difference after using the product. However, I only noticed a minor decrease in my pores. I have a few dark spots on my face and although I could see a slight difference, I don't think they faded enough to say it was a great selling feature. I did really like the serum and the way it left my skin feeling, but I'm not 100% convinced that it is making visible differences. I will, however, continue to keep using the product in hopes that the results will be more noticeable with ongoing usage. -
Batiste Dry Shampoo Original Clean & Classic

It felt light and still flowed nicely. The scent was amazing...not overpowering like some of the other dry shampoos on the market. I actually used the product when I was going to do an updo, since it gave my hair a little more body to work with. I would definitely use this product again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a dry shampoo. -

I received the Arm & Hammer Spinbrush for free as part of the Chick Advisor Review Club...and I couldn't be happier! The Truly Radiant Spinbrush is a battery operated toothbrush that claims to help whiten your teeth and provide a deep clean with it's bristle design. It definitely meets those requirements. After using the Spinbrush the first time, my mouth and teeth felt clean and fresh. After almost a week of using it, I could see a definite difference in the brightness of my teeth. It left my teeth feeling much cleaner and brighter than when I use a manual brush. I will most certainly be replacing the brush head after this one wears out, and I have already purchased them for my kids. If you're looking for a reasonably priced, battery powered toothbrush, then the Arm & Hammer Spinbrush Truly Radiant is the way to go! -

I was tried of having to paint my nails every other day. I did some research and decided to try out this system. I had a salon Gel/Shellac manicure done at a salon at the recommendation of a friend and I loved the fact that it lasted around two weeks! I tend to have to redo my nail polish every couple of days due to chipping, regardless of the brand that I would use. I picked up the starter kit for on sale at Shoppers Drug Mart. I also grabbed 3 polishes since they on sale as well. Application is very easy. The hardest part was getting the thickness of the application right. You don't want too much or too little when applying. The manicures last me two weeks. Occasionally there will be a little chip, but nothing terribly noticeable and nothing that I wouldn't have seen within an hour or two of applying regular nail polish.
I do find removal of the polish tricky and it seems to be because of the primer that comes with the Sensationail kit. As much of a nuisance as removal is, it's still incredibly worth it simply because I'm not having to repaint my nails every couple of days.
I have super thin nails and they break very easy. I love how the gel is thick and keeps my nails from breaking. I'm totally addicted to this product!

I received the CerVe PM Facial Moisturizing Lotion for free as part of a Chick Advisor review club. I am not normally a user of night lotions, only day lotions, but was more than willing to give it a try. I absolutely loved it. It wasn't heavy and didn't feel greasy on my skin. It absorbed nicely and left my face feeling soft. On a positive note, I didn't find any greasy stains on my pillow cases! I'll be happy to add CeraVe PM Facial Moisturizing Lotion to my skin care routine! -

I received CeraVe AM Facial Moisturizing Lotion SPF 30 as part of the Chick Advisor Review Club. I was a little skeptical because I was using a product that I already felt very strongly about. However, after a few days of using CeraVe lotion, I was ready to end the relationship with my usual lotion. I absolutely loved the way it felt. It absorbed nicely into my skin, without leaving a heavy or greasy feel. As the day went on, I didn't find that my regular facial oils were showing either. When it's time to buy my next lotion, it'll be CeraVe for me! -

I received the Poise Moderate Absorbency Pads for free as part of the Chickadvisor Review club. I have had ongoing issues with mild bladder leakage for years. I was excited to get the opportunity to try Poise. In the past, I've always relied on using regular maxi or mini pads for this purpose. The first thing I noticed was the size. They weren't overly bulky. I started using the Poise pads and immediately felt that they were exactly what I was going to be looking for in an absorbency pad. I am a dancer and tend to have some leakage when I dance. These weren't too bulky under my dance clothing and I never felt that I was wearing anything noticeable to others. The pad did it's job and absorbed wetness really well. There was no obvious odour. I will continue to purchase the Poise Moderate Absorbency pads and will recommend them to others. -
