I am SO disappointed that Olay has discontinued the fresh effects line. The Swirled pore mattifier and this satin face lotion were the greatest things I have EVER put on my skin. The lotion was velvety and made an amazing makeup primer as well as a daily moisturizer. I am putting this up in hopes that others who used it and loved it will follow suit and possibly we can make enough of a stink that they will bring it back! I swear to you it is better than any primer money can buy in this world and it was the best moisturizer I've ever used hands down. It improved everything about my skin not just for the short term, but in the long term as well. I am about to finish off the last bottle in my hoard and I want to cry knowing I will never feel it's sweet velvety softness on my face again and there will never be another lotion or primer like it ever. sad facex29873479826543658767598369756954 -

This stuff removes makeup like a charm! I no longer use any makeup removers or anything like that. It's best to soak a cotton pad a dab lightly, do not rub! Especially if you have sensitive skin as it may cause irritation. My skin has improved dramatically with this product in combination with others(such as L'Oreal Revitalift day cream). I don't like that it foams up and takes a while to dry and absorb into the skin but it's not bad considering most toners and makeup removers I have used left a greasy residue. I use this as a toner as well as a makeup remover and just refresher. I put some in a spritz bottle for when I'm outdoors on warm days, it really helps keep my skin from getting greasy and gross throughout the day, it helps with sebum(oil) control and dryness as well, that's quite a feat for one product. You get quite a bit for the small cost as well. -

Now it does work pretty darn well, my forehead wrinkles vanished and my acne scars faded quite a bit and raised the sunken pits which I was NOT expecting. I am very impressed with how well this works, I'd like to try some of the stronger Revitalift products and see how they fare since the cheapest, weakest one made a HUGE, VISIBLE difference. I am considering doing some before and after photos because this is BIG news as acne scars are nearly impossible to get rid of without expensive and painful laser and chemical treatments. If it helps my scars, wrinkles, and dullness what else can it do? I have tried hundreds of skincare products especially moisturizers and i have NEVER had one work this well whilst not turning me into a pizza face from a sensitivity to scent or other ingredients. There IS a LIGHT scent but not overpowering or perfumey. It smells like typical L'Oreal/Olay skincare products but I would say a bit more subtle, it's not overpowering at all and did not irritate my super-super-sensitive skin. I used it in combination with the green Garnier Micellar water for sensitive skin, and alternated between a Trisan antibacterial face wash and a Clean and Clear sensitive foaming formula on a daily basis. I occasionally used a Clarks Botanicals night cream and some clay and sheet masks but they don't factor too much in as I don't use them often, as in no more than 1-2 times a week(7days). It did take some time to dry into my skin but that could also be a result of my skin type and/or other products used under it that it couldn't absorb through. sometimes things will just sit on top of eachother instead of blending, I.E. never put a water based product over an oil based product as they do not blend as we all know. It leaves your skin a soft velvety texture, Good make up base. Use as day or night cream, medium texture, lasts a long time as you only need to use a small amount. Kind of pricey but worth it if you're Looking for a cream to even complexion and hydrate. -
