Summer's coming, you're sure to get an urge for ice cream. If you're like me, that urge will be everyday!! Kemps has a great frozen yogurt alternative to high fat ice cream. Kemps has introduced new 80 calorie frozen yogurt sandwiches. They are very good; It has been a long time since I had an ice cream sandwich and Kemps snack was very satisfying. They are small square portions (about 1/2 the size of typical ice cream sandwiches), just the perfect size when you feel your sweet tooth acting up. The price is good and because they're small, you get more, these would be great for picnics or barbeques. A nice light dessert after stuffing our faces with burgers, rich potato salads, salty chips and thick tortes. And because they are small, everyone can grab a dessert and it won't cost lots of money!! -

Fiber One yogurt by Yoplait - YUMMY!! I have tried multiple yogurts with added flavor and this one is definitely my favorite (by far). Each 4 oz serving (they come in individual cups) is 80 cal, NO FAT, with 5 g fiber! That's 20% of the day's fiber! Abavoe all the taste is awesome. It is very creamy, smooth with no pieces of fruit, sweet and satisfying. They are a delicious snack. The strawberry is my favorite. Mmm. Yoplait also makes YoPlus which is pretty tasty too. YoPLus has 110 cal. 1.5 g fat. and 3g fiber. Ooh, you can also pop them in the freezer and have a chilled, refreshing summer snack! Enjoy!! -

Then we waited and waited ... and waited for our check, but the server didn't bring it. I think she was afraid to come over because everything was terrible. So she just ignored us!! Eventually we asked a manager for our bill and told her how awful our experience was. She said the server was new - still, we were not impressed. Yuck. -

Delfriscos Steak House in Charlotte is a great place to head to before a night on the town. Two friends and I went there last week and enjoyed martinis, nice wine, crab cakes, shrimp, and steaks. It all tasted great. The place is 3 floors with a cool escalator that heads down to the wine cellar and private dining rooms. Our server Tava made it even more fun. The menu is pricey, but worth it. We left feeling full, happy, and ready for more fun. Our friends we met up with after were disappointed they didnt come with. Next time! -

Zada janes in NODA Charlotte is a great option for breakfast, lunch or dinner. They use a lot of locally grown products and everything is home-made. The vegetable soup is AMAZING. I get it almost everytime I eat there. They have a nice selection of soups, sandwiches, seafood meals, and all sorts of other dishes. There breakfast is really good too. Be prepared to wait for a table at lunch, but you can play shuffleboard outside while you wait- how cool is that?!? You'll enjoy Zada Janes if you are vegetarian or not. It's super yummilicious. -

I was very excited to try this product; I figured I would LOVE it .... well I didn't love it. I didn't even really like it. The product comes in 3 shades, so I bought 2 shades so I could mix up one that matched my skin color. The product is a bit greasy meets sticky. Not a mixture you want on your face, more like something you would use to mache a piniata. It smelled a little strange as well, but I didn't really mind the smell, it was somewhat intriquing. The worst problem was the packaging. I left my makeup bag in my car on a warm day and the package literally began melting. The twist off cap allowed the makeup to ooze out and it got ALL OVER the rest of my makeup and ruined my bag. Sad. I was disappointed in the texture/consistency, the variety in shades, and especially the packaging. It was NOT worth my money, and I miss my cute makeup bag!! Now when I want a light foundation, I use a tinted moisturizer which I find effective and a nice alternative. -
