I find that if you just remember to not fasten it on your hair as tight as you would a traditional hair tie, you're good. It doesn't need to be that tight because of the grip. -

It makes it so easy to put a 1/4 cup of butter in whatever you are baking. Otherwise I need to let the butter sit on the counter to warm up, before it can be sliced and packaged in 1/4 cup containers. It does cost a little more to buy in this convenient packaging, but when on sale, stock up and save money. I always have butter, with salt, in the freezer. -
