I was really sceptical of this kind of cream, I've always heard that it's more diet and exercise that gets rid of cellulite. But I wanted to try an anti-cellulite cream because, why not? The directions say to apply morning and evening on cellulite prone areas: buttocks, thighs, hips. It's a gel so I thought that was a bit weird, but it absorbs really fast. I didn't even need to use very much of the gel so I feel like one bottle of this treatment would last a while. The smell is kind of fruity (although I can't place what fruit it is something citrus maybe) - not medicinal like I assumed it would smell. I have followed the directions and I have to say, although I still see cellulite I feel like it has reduced the appearance of it. I also feel like I am paying more attention to that area of my body than I ever have - I apply lotion when I get out of the shower but honestly I have never applied cream to that area religiously morning and night... so I think that this program is helping this area more than hindering it. The areas that I apply the gel to are really smooth after it is absorbed, which is a bonus! maybe that's one of the reasons why I feel like it has reduced the appearance of cellulite a little bit, it really smoothed out that area in general. I think that this gel with a combination of a diet and exercise program would probably make a difference, although the package does state that sometimes it's just your genes. I may continue to use this product, it makes me feel a bit better about the 'trouble' areas. ALTHOUGH, I recieved this product through the chickadvisor product review club - not sure I would spend the $66 that it's going for online! That's a whole lot of money for a 200ml bottle! Having said that, if you are a woman who's particularily sensitive about cellulite, this may help you feel better about that situation, although I'm sure there's no magic lotion that'll get rid of cellulite without a proper diet and exercise program. Overall, I enjoyed using this product, I felt like it helped a bit after a week and I will continue to use it while I have it but not sure if it fits into my budget in tight times like these. -

The place had great ambiance, the food was AMAZING, the drinks were awesome! I highly recommend this place now on as a great date spot, family spot, friends spot. The server was obviously new but she did pretty good. The guacamole was the best I've ever tasted, the margarita's I could down a bit too fast - they were shaken just the way I like them... you should definitely hit this place up if you're in the hood.

I had a situation using a same-old same-old face cleanser (I will not disclose names) that I bought from shoppers and my skin went crazy! So dry, itchy, blotchy, just awful looking and awful feeling as well! I went to Solarice to check out a brand that was recommended to me and within 2 days of using this amazing, wonderful smelling, soothing cleanser my skin was back and better than ever! I will always use this product as I have learned from my experience that my skin is much more sensitive than I give it credit for. Love your skin! p.s. the spa usually gives samples of some of their other eminence products as they range in the more expensive prices. It is an investment for your face. I bought my cleanser a year ago and it's still going strong. You do not need much of this cleanser at all to see results. My one regret is that they do not have a matching moisturizer to take you into full out tropical bliss :) -

I have been using this mascara for quite some time now... I don't always use the white end of the mascara as it seems like there is just so much stuff on my lashes, I always end up using the black end only. This mascara actually does what it says! it totally creates a tube around the lashes you have... when you wash it off little tubes come off. I was caught off guard by that. It is an amazing product, not as good if you try to reapply later on. I like the quality of the mascara, it does it's job and I don't ever have to deal with goopy application. I will definitely buy this product again. -

This mascara does come in ridiculously large packaging... and the smell is rather odd (almost like they tried to add a perfume-like scent to it). I was rather excited about this mascara, as I am a fan of maybelline products. The application was alright, it coated my lashes well but I'm not sure about any sort of 'colossal volume,' and it did wash off easily at the end of the day. However, I did notice that at the end of my serving shift (even though I did not feel particularily warm) there was a bit of mascara under the bottom eyelashes...a definite no-no for me is looking like I have shed a tear after a good day at work. On noticing that I then tried the next day to only coat my top lashes, which worked much better. So buyers beware! If you put this mascara on your bottom lashes keep up with the makeup checks! -

In the heart of kitsilano tucked under a few boutique shops is a wonderful little spa by the name of bloom essentials. When you walk in you are greeted by their very friendly staff and amazing products that the company both uses and recommends. I've been to some spas where the staff has a 'holier-than-thou attitude' ... not here! They are wonderful girls to be around who really know and love their trade. The ambiance is super chic yet comfortable. Their pedicures in particular are to die for. You sit on a bed made up with wonderful cotton sheets and rest your feet on pebbles in a delicately scented foot bath. From there, a wonderful foot/leg massage and the chance to pick out your nail polish/art (I always prefer the bloom-style pedicure where they draw daisies on your toes) and relax... a bonus: if you go there with girlfriends you get to sit on a huge bed together... I went here with a stagette group on one occasion and they served a bottle of wine that we brought and handed out cupcakes (also brought by one of the bridesmaids). All in all, a wonderful experience! -

The Flying Tiger is an asian fusion tapas restaurant in the kitsilano area of Vancouver. It is amazing... the food, the service, the experience! The value is incredible at this restaurant. It is a great place to go for a date, with the tapas style of dining all dishes ordered come after each one has been finished... forcing you to take your time with those you're dining with and enjoy each dish one at a time. The service is fantastic with an open style kitchen (where you can peek to see how each dish is prepared) and friendly servers and bartenders. The dishes range from spring rolls and curry to peking duck and amazing noodles... each with the flying tigers own twist. The ambiance is great for dates and/or dinner, with a small patio with a wrought iron trim great for people watching and enjoying the twilight or a cozy bar-style table where you're forced to cuddle up. -
