Maybelline New York Lash Stiletto Mascara
I also received this mascara product from ChickAdvisor to sample. I absolutely love the packaging, and I really am a slave to packaging! I think it's super cute, and I'd be comfortable pulling it out of my make-up bag anywhere anytime... +
I also received this mascara product from ChickAdvisor to sample. I absolutely love the packaging, and I really am a slave to packaging! I think it's super cute, and I'd be comfortable pulling it out of my make-up bag anywhere anytime (unlike the old Great Lash mascara tube in pink and green...for some reason it just reminds me of a Grandma).
The play on a stiletto is super cute and gives an idea of the main functional benefit of the mascara - that the product probably lengthens your lashes like a stiletto heel is long and skinny! However, I felt that it was more of a 'pump' as it was a natural look and while I like natural make-up when it comes to mascara I want it to be the one thing that's noticeable. I really was hoping for more length and more 'body' in my lashes. However, for a girl thatt's really looking for a very natural look, yet a look that still defines her eyelashes a little bit, it would be a great product.
Also, I have very sensitive eyes and wear contact lenses. The product made my eyes sting a little bit, and I tried it numerous times to make sure it wasn't something else making my eyes sting (i.e. eye shadow).
Again - if you're looking for a more 'sultry night out' look, or even just more noticeable lashes, I'm not sure it's the best choice. But, for those natural seekers out there, it could be your new favourite product!

AMAZING! I love this lotion. I swear it is so soothing when I put it on before bed that it helps me sleep. The scent is lovely, and not overpowering. Again, like the other SeaVital product I reviewed, the packaging isn't necessarily a wow... +

Again, like the other SeaVital product I reviewed, the packaging isn't necessarily a wow factor, but the product inside is!
I also feel like the dead sea minerals are really doing something for my skin. My hands are usually horribly dry, and they haven't been so far this winter season!
I'm not sure of the price as it was given to me, and on their website it says distributors can purchase it only...but it's worth finding out where you can buy the line.

Based on packaging alone, i wouldn't have necessarily picked this up on my own. However, when it was given to me and I tried it...I realized I would have been missing out by not picking it up!
Lovely fresh scent, and great lather...which I always look for in a shampoo! Once my hair is dry, it feels really soft and has the same fresh scent.
I would highly recommend it...I think it would even be a good shampoo to keep in the shower for all members of the household to use - it has that universal appeal, i.e. not too girly.
Don't let the packaging deceive you!

In terms of quality, I believe Havaiianas are definitely a step up, however for the price you can't go wrong with Old Navy flip flops. However, I warn that you shouldn't wear them in the shower at the gym! They start to smell really badly... +

However, I warn that you shouldn't wear them in the shower at the gym! They start to smell really badly after a couple of weeks...I think because the foam takes so long to dry.
But for the colour selection, and price - you definitely can consider these a steal!

I've never really used an eye gel, but at 28, maybe it's time to start? I found it quite soothing, and while it felt a little drying initially when I applied it, I woke up with my eye lids feeling moisturized and ready for the day!... +

I'm definitely converted to using an eye gel...when I remember! It's still new to my nighttime routine, so I must admit I haven't been using it every night.
Also, I wear contact lenses, and it hasn't seemed to interfere with that at all!

This toner is awesome! I must say, I'm a little skeptical with various facial products, especially because I'm prone to breakouts. This didn't say oil free, but I thought I'd give it a try anyways.
And I LOVE it. I actually got a compliment from a friend the other day who said my skin looked so healthy! I've never got that compliment! Also, using it before bed is really soothing. The scent is lovely.
