I had received the Crest 3D Whitestrips through the Product Review Club (thank you!). I have used whitestrips before with good results but have never tried the Intensive Professional Effects variety. I used them the first time for the recommended length of two hours in the afternoon. After one use, my teeth were noticibly a bit whiter. That night I had trouble sleeping because my teeth were SO sensitive that when air passed by them it hurt. I had experienced sensitivity before with Whitestrips but it was not this intense. Using Sensodyne toothpaste helped ease the sensitivity. A tip for people experiencing sensitivity is to do a treatment every two days, but I continued with once a day as I had to post the review. By the end of the week, my teeth are very very white and bright. They were not too stained before but I am so impressed with the whiteness and the change from the Whitestrips. I have never had a professional whitening treatment done but the results I achieved were very drastic and I am very happy. The increase in whiteness is definitely greater than using other Crest Whitestrips which are not the Professional Effects variety. If you are looking for a drastic whitening experience I would definitely recommend these. A tip to keep them sticking to your teeth for the two hours is not to brush your teeth right before and dry them off with a kleneex before applying the white strips. -

I finally was able to try BB Cream about a month ago and I picked up the Garnier brand at my local drug store. The price was a little high for a drugstore item ($20) but I thought it was worth a shot due to all the hype. I picked it up in the light shade and I am pretty faired skin but can tan sometimes. I put it on with a tiny bit of moisturizer underneath because my skin is pretty dry. It was a good colour and it blended into my skin really easily using my fingers. I felt it definitely made my imperfections less visable and my skintone more even. I use this product during the daytime and then a higher coverage foundation if I'm going out at night. What I didn't like was the smell (it was very strong) and the shininess of the product. It made my face so shiny that I had to use a powder on top. After applying the powder I just had a nice healthy glow but it would be nice not to have the extra step. I had to apply my bronzer/blushes on top of the loose powder because if I put them right ontop of the BB Cream it would just sit on top. I am unsure if I would repurchase because of the shine issue. I may looking into trying other brands of BB Cream because so many more have been released since July. -

First off... I love my Clarisonic!!! I've had it for about 6 months now (since March 2012) and I can't imagine myself without it. I've seen so many beauty guru videos on Facebook raging about the Clarisonic and I've also read how good it is for your skin. It took me a while to decide to get it because of the high price but it is honestly one of the best investments you can make in your face. I'm 20 years old so I thought why not invest now so I can have better skin when I'm older. I chose the Mia because it has the same brush as the regular Clarisonic...and you really only need one speed. I got mine online at www.spaboutique.ca for $119 CAD plus tax and shipping. They are a bit harder to find in Canada so I was happy to find a Canadian owned website so there wouldn't be any duty or high shipping fees. I've been using it twice a day with my own cleanser (Arbonne FC5... I didn't like the one it came with) and my skin has never felt smoother. It felt smoother even after the first use. When I first started I had pretty bad breakouts for one month... it's called purging but it goes away after a month and it was SO worth it!!! I also feel like my skin products get absorbed more quickly after using my clarisonic. If you are serious about your skin it is a great investment to make and I highly recommend it! -

I have been loving the Revlon Lip Butters since I first got my hands on one in January 2011. Since then I have purchased many shades including: Cotton Candy, Cupcake, Strawberry Shortcake, Lollipop, Sweet Tart, and Peach Parfait. They are perfect for days when I don't feel like doing a full-on lipstick and they keep my lips oh soooo hydrated! I like different shades for different looks but my favourite has to be Peach Parfait... i love the subtle golden sparkles. The price isn't the greatest for what it is.. I've been finding them around $10 at Canadian Drug Stores, but if you can find them on sale they're a great deal. -

This has been my favourite mascara for over a year now and I keep coming back for more. I have used many high end mascaras in the past such as Bad Gal Lash (Benefit) and DNA Lash (Smashbox) but nothing compares to this L'oreal gem. It makes my lashes very very long and voluminous, while separating them and fanning them out. A tip while applying... apply in a zig zag motion at the root of the lashes and pull straight out towards the end. This allows the product to be evenly distributed without clumping. Also, this mascara is often on sale at Shoppers Drug Mart so I can stock up! Hope this was helpful :) -

I was very lucky to receive this toothbrush from the Product Review Club (thank you!). The packaging was very nice and sleek. I decided to use it for a couple weeks before posting a review so I could see if it stands up to the claim that it reduces surface stains by 94%. I can definitely say I have seen a change in the whiteness of my teeth; they are very bright and white! I have also noticed that my gums look less red, and much more healthy. The clean feeling after finishing brushing with the Oral B Pulsonic toothbrush is amazing! I feel like I just returned from a professional cleaning at the dentist, and the clean feeling lasts all day. I have owned an Oral B Triumph electric toothbrush for more than three years and I can say that this provides the same clean feeling as the Triumph. I have not yet decided whether I prefer the circular shaped brush of the Triumph, or this one. I love that this brush is much slimmer and lighter than the Triumph; it takes up much less space on my bathroom counter! I enjoy that it has a two-minute timer which prompts you to switch quadrants of your mouth every thirty seconds. It makes brushing fun and the two minutes seems to just fly by! I will definitely be recommending this to friends who have never owned an electric toothbrush. The head shape is similar to one of a manual brush so it is a smooth transition. An improvement I would suggest to Oral B is to include a travel case, similar to the one included with the Triumph. The Pulsonic's slim design makes it great for travel and a case would make it that much better. Thank you! -

I got this as part of the product review club (thanks!!). I was not sure how to quite use the brusher but quickly got the hang of it. The clenser smells very nice and did not dry out my skin at all. The bruser quickly banished the big patch of dry skin on my forehead. I also recieved a Garnier face moisturizer in the mail which also made my face very smooth! After the first use I my skin was noticibly smoother and felt soooo soft. After using it for around a week my skintone also looked more even and still just as soft. It caused me to break out around my nose (probably because it was a very moisturizing clenser) so I stopped using it on that area and the blemishes went away. For that reason, I would reccomend this more to people with dryer skin, and not to people with oily skin because it can cause you to break out. I will definately be purchasing this again... thanks! -

My overall experience was very good! I usually wear MAC makeup and this is very comparable in the colour brightness, colour blendability, and silky smooth feel. The colour was very true to what was on the pallate and the dark colours lived up to their intensity, I was very impressed. The Pink Persuasion creates a soft, romantic look and the Green With Envy creates a look fit for going out to a nightclub or bar. My friends commented me on my new eye shadows and wanted to try them
I would reccomend this to anyone who likes smooth, silky eyeshadows with a bit of sparkle!

I just got this cream in the mail and I'd like to say THANK YOU! This cream is amazing! I have a huge problem with dry skin in the winter on my arms and legs. Most intensive moisturizers make my skin super-greasy on top and does not quench it. Vaseline Sheer Infusion moisturizes all layers of my skin and stops it from feeling dry and flakey. It also smells great! One downside is the price; it is $9.99 at Shoppers Drug Mart. Thank you. -

I bought this lipgloss on sale at Bath and Body Works. It was an excellent deal and the lip gloss is very high quality. It freshens up your breath and gives you a high-shine look at the same time. This gloss comes in many colours from very sheer to dark pink, red, and purple. I will definatly buy this again and reccomend it :) It is not too sticky too. -
