Recently I was given the Annabelle Expandable Mascara to review. I found the product immediately intriguing because of its "expanding" feature, where twisting a dial on the bottom of the wand causes the wand to literally elongate. Depending on the length of the wand your eyelashes will have more or less volume because of the density of the bristles, so you are able to easily control your look.
Being a bit of a rookie in the field of applying mascara, I found this to be a great feature that minimized my chances of applying too much mascara when trying to get more volume. I also tried it on the longer wand setting and found the results to be quite noticeable without being overly dramatic -- a great daytime look.
Though the wand itself is quite fantastic, I've found the very tip of it tends to collect a lot of excess mascara, which can be problematic depending on how you hold the wand during application. My only other complaint is that the mascara tends to get flaky after a few hours of wear, so sneak a peek at a compact mirror every now and then!

I was recently given the Neutrogena Naturals Acne Foaming Scrub to review. I tend to break out a lot on my forehead (I have bangs and tend to touch at them a lot), and my cheeks/chin. Prior to this I was not using any kind of acne regimen, and started using the Acne Foaming Scrub once per day, usually just before going to sleep.
I was surprised to notice an improvement on my face after only using the product for around 6 days. It has been roughly three weeks now, and my face has cleared up considerably. The acne that I do have is much smaller and only noticeable up-close, instead of the horrendously large blind zits I used to have. The best part is that I now feel comfortable styling my hair so my forehead is visible, whereas before it was a necessity to use my bangs to hide my acne.
I especially love that this product is made with 93% natural ingredients with no harsh chemicals, dyes or parabens. My skin has never become irritated while using this product, and it exfoliates in a way you can feel while still being gentle. Because this product uses (naturally derived) salicylic acid, it's recommended you don't combine it with another topical acne treatment to prevent drying out your skin. I have found it's beneficial to moisturize a little while after using this product.
In the last few days I have started using this product twice daily (before bed and after I wake up), and will definitely continue to use it in the future.

Recently I was given the Healthy Hair Plus Follicle and Scalp Purifier to review. I shower every other day, making sure to shampoo twice and avoid getting conditioner on my scalp. Unfortunately, I typically have a rather oily looking scalp and bangs by the second day.
After using the Follicle & Scalp Purifier for two weeks, there was a noticeable improvement on my second-day hair - it looks almost as good as it does on the first day! I often feel self conscious about my hair the day after I shower, but that has changed and I am very pleased by the result. Normally my go-to would be a dry shampoo, but this shampoo seems to have gotten to the "root" of the problem and I don't need quick fixes like dry shampoo anymore.
The product itself comes in a small bottle for how much it costs (approx. $16), but is well worth it. It's also worth noting that the shampoo has an unusual smell, almost like eucalyptus, but once it is rinsed off your hair will not take on the scent. Overall I was impressed by the product and will likely purchase another once my current bottle runs out.

As someone that normally uses 3-blade disposable razors, I found using the 5-blade Venus Embrace razor was a vastly different experience. The razor glides smoothly and curved effortlessly along with the contours of my body. In areas that I would normally need to go over multiple times, the embrace razor left no trace of hairs or stubble. The moisture bars from the Spa Breeze refills also left me with incredibly smooth legs and it was great to not have to worry about shaving cream. Afterwards, I found my legs were extremely soft and felt silky to the touch - I couldn't help but run my hands all over them because of how smooth they were! -

Carnaby Sweet Gourmet Jelly Beans
Yummy! These heart shaped jelly beans are so adorable, plus they come in three very tasty flavours. These really took the edge off of a recent sweet craving, and are as gourmet as any other "gourmet" jelly bean I've had. Perfect for sharing, too!

I just got the Rub Me Massage Bar in French Vanilla, not knowing what to expect. The bar looks creamy like soap but once you remove it from the packaging it immediately starts to become oil from your body heat. After using enough for an extra long massage the bar still looked like it had been unused - apparently each bar lasts for 8-10 massages so it's a great price for the mileage. The oil itself is very long lasting.. I was able to give an hour long massage (and receive one!) without any need for reapplication of the bar. What I absolutely can't get over is the scent: french vanilla is my favourite, but every bar is made with cocoa butter and shea butter so no matter what kind you choose you will walk away smelling like decadent chocolate for at least a day. My skin feels and smells amazing even a day after, this is honestly the best massage product I have ever used. -

This lipstick does have a tendency to get on your teeth if you're not careful, but the intense colour and lasting wear is definitely worth it. The packaging is quite eyecatching too. -
