I have used refular hair oils and I generally find them just really gross feeling on my hair. Even with a minimal amount used. I have purchased a $30 bottle of oil in the past and sadly majority of it went to waste. This dry oil is perfect! It provides tons of moisture in my hair with zero greasy feeling! -

My nose would sometimes stay a little scaley but overall I did think it worked well. It does claim to hydrate deeply but as I said above, I would say it gives moderate hydration. It is also not greasy which is nice! -
