It is oddly satisfying to see the mask beginning to dry in places, as I imagine the charcoal pulling out the excess sebum especially in the milia I have under my eyes. I like this product a lot but it's my first charcoal mask so I may just know any better. -

Interesting texture between that of cream and runnier lotion. Tried it as a gift from Sephora. I wasn't really paying attention because I was poorer and would use almost anything. But even that, I noticed my skin was softer and I felt "fuller" in my face, more plump. It is quite pricey, but if you purchase it in a gift set from Sephora, the protini itself was already paid for. -

I got this as a sample which was sufficient for one use. The product has a texture that reminds me of beauty products with silicone with a smooth, emollient touch after applying. Direction is to apply then massage with some pressure. I did a tiny bit and then took a little break that couldn’t have been more than five minutes, as I read further about the product. Pilling formed when I did and I couldn’t massage more. Also you are supposed to use it on the jawline and neck only, not the entire face. It was either vichy’s or SDM website but it was not mentioned so I put it on my entire face. -
