I also use the Plum Splash (the darker colour is really good for going out purposes), but this has become my favourite everyday lipgloss. I actually love the taste and the smell. And it definitely goes with different kinds of skin types and colours... +

I was dragged into here with a friend a couple of weeks ago. Did NOT enjoy the experience and would like to warn people to not go in there if they can help it. Reasons:
-my friend found a hair in her food. She got a new plate, but still.
-the menu is really cheap but has absolutely no healthy options. There are no salads.
In the end, I had to buy a Pad Thai (which I normally get at Thai restuarants anyway) but there weren't as many vegetables and meat pieces in there, sigh. So I had to throw out most of it, and I didn't really care, because of the low price.
I know for sure that I'm never ever going in here again.

All I can say is that I really liked the food here. Very healthy, and very spicy. I'm not sure if I ordered it hot, but I remember downing glasses and glasses of water. It almost felt like a cleanse. It was so.. spicy.. and healthy.

Absolutely love LOVE this product. Cocoa butter is a fantastic moisturizer and melanin regulator. Not only does it deep moisturize, but it also reduces the appearance of stretch mark, facilitates an even tan and gets rid of tanning irregularities. It is perfect for wherever on your skin. I've found that daily use has made my skin very supple, reduced all pores, and evened out my skin tone. I consider this one of my basic necessities. And it's also so wonderful to get so much of it (725 mL) at such a low price. I've gotten it at a Loblaws in Ottawa for as high as $8.00 but it was well worth the price cuz it lasts so long.
Things that this lotion is not good for (just putting it here for people in case): relief from burns and cuts. It's better to use other creams like aloe vera for those, cuz butter tends to 'cook' cuts in skin.

The beneficial effects of olive oil for hair are many. I've known this as an old wives' tale, but was always hesitant to actually put oil on my hair.
The Body Shop actually incorporates all these good effects of olive oil - added strength, shine and texture - without the messyness and stickyness. It cleans very effectively. And the smell is just divine. I have dry to 'normal' hair, and used to use shampoo plus conditioner (the mass-sold EF or European Formula really worked for me), but with this treat, I don't even need to follow up with conditioner because the olive oil already conditions.
This site shows the price in pounds, but it comes out to about $13 CDN. So worth the investment.

I live a half hour away from this place by highway, but I've been going there since my high school prom. These ladies are real experts in anything when it comes to giving you any type of fantastic looking hair that you desire. They take their time in really perfecting coiffure, and provide lots of helpful tips and keep up to date on trends and products. And the best part is that all this good stuff comes for a price that is a bit cheaper than what you get in downtown Toronto. I highly recommend this place for people residing in the Scarborough area or for people who are looking for a great salon and who wouldn't mind a highway commute to check it out :) -
