Coconut is one of the most versatile products I use! I recommend it to friends all the time as it is safe, natural, and effective! I use coconut oil from head to toe. It works well to soften and hydrate chapped hands, lips, feet and ears in the dead of winter. I use it as a hair mask every month to keep my hair healthy and shiny. It works wonders for removing tough makeup (high pigment shadows), and for shaving! If I'm ever in the mood for a full body exfoliation, I mix some coarse sea salt or sugar with a half cup of oil for a rich, natural pampering experience. Plus it has antibacterial/anti-fungal powers which makes it an even better choice! -

LashBlast is my favorite drug store mascara! I love the intensity of their Very Black shade. I've also tried their 24HR Black Gold mascara and I love it as well. I find the LashBlast brush is one of the best I've used, giving me the ultimate volume and length. While this mascara isn't as effective for curling as some of their other formulas, it works so well overall that it comes out on top for me. I like a thick, lush lash that demands attention and that is exactly what this mascara gives me for a fraction of the price of my favourite Lancome variety! It lasts well too! -

I LOVE 7 Day Scrub! I've been hooked on this product for years and have never found anything that can rival it. The granules are perfectly spherical so they can't tear your skin, unlike many other manual exfoliating scrubs. It's also scent free and allergy tested which is great for my sensitive, break-out prone skin. Contrary to some reviewers, I would add that it is completely safe for everyday use, it's actually formulated to be used daily if desired! I always use it right before the shower (or in the shower) so I can easily wash away the granules. It keeps my skin fresh and radiant, I feel absolutely grimy if I miss a day! -

While I normally stick to department store prestige brands for my shadows, I decided to take a chance and order the Lorac Pro palette online. I have very sensitive eyes so I avoid drug store brands that I cannot try in store. I was thrilled with my palette when it arrived. It is highly pigmented but still blends beautifully. I was excited to see that it does have a great selection of true matte shadows. I love playing with matte and shimmer shadows to create bold looks. The colours in the palette would definitely be complimentary to any user as they are all balanced neutrals and nudes. I was also pleased to receive a small sample of their primer with my palette, which I like immensely! I'm very happy with the quality, colours, and the fact that it doesn't bother my eyes even after a long day at work. -

When I first got my Keurig I was a bit skeptical due to the price tag. However, I soon found that it was worth far more thanks to the convenience it offers! I used to make 4 cup pots of coffee every morning but I found I was wasting what I didn't drink. With my Keurig there's no waste and each cup is as hot and fresh as the last! It is simple and quick, great for someone on the go. I initially used all K-Cups with my Keurig, but now I use K-Cups for a treat and use the Keurig ground coffee adapter pod so I can brew my favourite organic, fair trade coffee at a fraction of the price (with less garbage too)! -

As a long-time Alan Cumming fan, I was very excited about his new book! I am pleased to say that it lived up to my expectations and was as witty and whimsical as the delightful actor himself, despite the dark subject matter. Cumming shows great strength in sharing his family's past openly and recounting memories that are evidently painful. A beautiful read from an inspiring man. -
