I had the chance to try the Blue Lizard Sensitive Mineral Sunscreen Stick SPF 50, thanks to Butterly and Crown Labs (Canada) — and wow, this little stick has officially earned a permanent spot in my bag! 👜
The formula is Zinc Oxide-based, super easy to apply, glides on clear, dries smooth, and feels weightless. I love that it’s broad-spectrum UVA/UVB protection and designed for sensitive skin — perfect for our family’s fair skin and my migraine-prone sensitivities (no harsh fragrances or chemical actives 👏).
It’s vegan, non-comedogenic, with nourishing ingredients like aloe vera, shea butter, sunflower seed oil, and vitamin E — so not only does it protect, but it also leaves your skin feeling soft and hydrated.
Bonus: it’s sweat- and water-resistant for up to 80 minutes — whether I’m on a quick walk, chasing my kids at the park, or just running errands, this stick is the definition of grab-and-go protection.

I’ve tried so many brands over the years—sticky ones, smelly ones, ones that melt off as soon as they jump in the water. But Blue Lizard Kids Mineral Sunscreen SPF 50? Game-changer.
Here’s why I’m obsessed:
• It’s mineral-based with zinc oxide, which means no harsh chemicals and way less risk of irritation or breakouts—especially for kids with eczema-prone skin.
• Goes on easy (it’s a spray!) and doesn’t feel greasy or sticky, which is HUGE when you’re chasing kids who don’t want to sit still long enough for sunscreen in the first place.
• Water-resistant for 80 minutes, which is perfect for swimming lessons, sprinklers, or backyard chaos.
• No weird smell, no white cast, and it rubs in fast—this is not your 90s zinc chalk stick.
