I've been using this for a few months now because I do have a very oily scalp. I was finding that although my hair looked great in the morning, by mid-day my scalp was always oily. So, I wanted to try this to see if it would help and, I tell you, it really does. I use this on my roots only and it not only keeps oil at bay all day, it helps add some lift and body to my hair! Amazing I tell you! -

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this product. For me, because I already have rather oily hair I can't use it on the top of my hair but I do use it on my ends (especially if I will be outside for long period of time or during winter when the weather is so drying). I have also learned a little trick (for me) when using this. I put this on my hair after I get out of the shower and then wrap my hair up in a towel and let it stay wrapped up for at least 5 minutes. I think the heat from my head actually makes this stuff work better...my hair is sooooo incredibly soft when I do this! -

These are the best! I had been using another product for years and my hair was always dry, brittle and dull. I asked my hair dresser once and she suggested TRESemme. She said a lot of other products (and especially the one I was using) don't really condition your hair but contain a waxy substance that coats the hair which is actually more damaging. Since I have been using TRESemme (over three years now) my hair is healthy, bouncy, and vibrant. I don't have horrible split ends or breakage anymore.
Note: For ANYONE who feels the shampoo is drying - another tip I got from my hair dresser is to:
1. Before you take a shower brush your hair with a soft bristle brush (this will brush your natural oils to your ends)
2. ONLY shampoo your scalp. Take a small amount of shampoo and using your fingertips massage the shampoo onto your scalp. Do not put shampoo on your ends.
3. When you rinse your scalp the shampoo will run down your hair to your ends but won't strip all the oils out of your ends so they won't be so dry and brittle.
4. Condition as usual.
