I recently received the Murumuru Butter & Rose Blooming Strength & Shine 2 Minute Magic Masque by Love Beauty & Planet for free in exchange for my honest feedback from Chick Advisor.
We just finished a long and harsh winter here on the prairies. It always takes a toll on my hair and this year was no exception. I don't usually pamper my hair with these types of treatments but after trying this 2 Minute Magic Masque, I can't believe I hadn't tried one sooner.
This product is amazing. So thick and smells just beautiful. For some it may be a bit overpowering but if you like the scent of fresh roses, this product doesn't disappoint.
My hair was definitely softer and shinier after just one treatment. I was so impressed with it! My only recommendation is to not use it on your roots. I did notice that my roots appeared greasy very quickly after my first use but when I tried it again I applied only from my ears down to the ends and it worked much better for me at that point.
I definitely recommend this 2 Minute Magic Masque if your hair needs a good deep conditioning. Love Beauty & Planet will be a regular product in my shower from now on. Thanks!

I recently received the Murumuru Butter & Rose Blooming Colour Shampoo by Love Beauty & Planet for free in exchange for my honest feedback from Chick Advisor. I love that the bottles are made of 100% recycled materials, they really care about the environment!
Their sustainably sourced ingredients make me feel good about continuing to support this brand.
This shampoo has a beautiful scent that makes me feel pampered all day. As far as rose scented products go, it's one of my favourites now. Not too strong and it smells like an actual fresh blooming rose, so romantic!
I definitely recommend this shampoo, along with other products in the line & Love Beauty & Planet will be a regular product in my shower from now on. Thanks!

I recently received the Murumuru Butter & Rose Blooming Colour Conditioner by Love Beauty & Planet for free in exchange for my honest feedback from Chick Advisor. The first thing I noticed is that the bottles are made of 100% recycled materials, so awesome! For those that care about the planet, this is important. I also think it's great that they source their ingredients sustainably and have even formulated their conditioners to be "fast rinsing". I did notice that the product was a bit more watery than a typical conditioner but my hair still felt properly conditioned and I did notice that my thick hair rinsed quicker than usual. I left the best for last - the scent! Oh my. If you are a fan of rose scented hair products, you will fall head over heels in love with this stuff. It's a beautiful scent that makes me feel pampered all day. The scent lingers in the hair and you smell amazing with each head shake throughout the day. I will definitely recommend this conditioner, along with other products in the line & Love Beauty & Planet will be a regular product in my shower from now on. Thanks! -

I really wanted to love this primer but unfortunately I just couldn't get used to it. I typically use primers that dry to a powdery finish but this primer goes on like a light moisturizer and stayed tacky on my skin. I am in a rush in the mornings (who isn't!?) and so I didn't have the patience to wait for the primer to fully dry before applying my powder foundation the first time. The second time I tried it I waited a bit longer before applying my foundation but I noticed a bit of a streak. The third time I tried it I used a VERY light touch and a tiny amount and that seemed to help a bit but then I didn't feel that I had any product on. I also didn't like the scent of this product, it was a bit too perfumy for my liking. I #gotitfree in exchange for an honest review. -

I normally use a pressed powder foundation so I was very excited to try a loose powder foundation to see how they compared. Unfortunately the shade I ordered from the website did not match the colour on screen at all (I am a light neutral and ordered N5 Champagne) but it was quite a dark shade with orange tones. I tried it anyways so I could submit a review of the quality of the powder and I was pleasantly surprised to see that the coverage was very light and the difference in colour didn't matter that much with just a light dusting applied. When I applied a second brush over you could see the coverage building and the shade didn't match my skin tone but the quality of this product was evident. When applied with the included mineral brush it was super silky on my skin and a lovely texture once applied. I would recommend this product but I suggest that you order a shade lighter than on screen and if possible, purchase in store so you can test the shades first. Enjoy! The first thing I noticed about this brush when I took it out of the packaging was that it is a high quality brush. The bristles are very soft and none fell out when I ran it it over my skin like what usually happens with a new make up brush. I tried it with a loose powder and my compact foundation and I found it had better coverage with the loose powder. I feel that the bristles are a bit too soft to pick up a decent amount of powder from the compact foundation but someone who is looking for a light coverage may find it suitable. I recently received a full size bottle of Seventh Generation dish liquid in the Lavender Flower & Mint scent. I don't think I've ever had a dish liquid that puts a smile on my face but this one does just that! The smell reminds me of a spa or a lovely bath full of bubbles. Even my daughter commented that it smelled so nice when washing up.
This dish liquid easily cut through grease on my pots and pans. I didn't have any issues with it drying out my hands either.
This product will definitely be purchased again!

As soon as I received my Seventh Generation Liquid Laundry Detergent in Lavender and Blue Eucalyptus scent I knew my first wash load would include my bed sheets. The detergent smells very strong when you're pouring it into the wash (I have a front load and filled to the regular line for liquid detergent) and when my sheets came out of the dryer they smelled so good! That night the scent was really nice, not too overpowering but by the second night the scent had worn off considerably. I would have liked it to linger a bit longer as it does smell really amazing but I had to go back to using my lavender sheet spray. As for cleaning power, I've washed a few more loads since then and haven't had any issues with clothes not coming clean. I would buy this product again! #gotitfree -

I bought the Nexxus shampoo and conditioner for the first time this summer. After only 2 uses my hair felt weighed down and super oily. When I used a stripping shampoo I could feel the gunky build up from the Nexxus product slowly washing out. Maybe this product would work great for someone with really dry hair but my hair is considered “normal” (not too dry or too oily) and this definitely wasn’t the product for me. I will say that it smelled quite nice though. -

I received a coupon from Chick Advisor to try Mott's Mr & Mrs T Blue Raspberry Martini Cocktail Mix. I saved it for a BBQ party that we had coming up and I'm glad I did! We made the Oceanside Mimosas and Blue Sky Martini's - both recipes came in the included recipe book.
The Oceanside Mimosas were so good, definitely my favourite beverage of the evening. It was so easy to make and took the guesswork out of how to mix up delicious party drinks! For those that don't have the recipe book, the Oceanside Mimosa is 5 oz of Mr & Mrs T Blue Raspberry Martini Mix, 10 oz Orangina sparkling drink, 5 cups of ice and Prosecco. We just combined the martini mix and Orangina in a pitcher with ice, filled our glasses halfway with this mix and then topped with the Prosecco. (You can use sparkling water or soda in place of Processo)
So easy to make and everyone enjoyed this drink. I'd say it's definitely a great addition to any summer party &
I can't wait to try it in other recipes!
