I love a lot of Hard Candy's line, but not this product. I have oily skin to begin with, but decided to try this out anyway because of its very reasonable price - what a mistake. At first the brightening effect is pretty on the skin, so I'll give it that, but then all I felt was a very off-putting stickiness. Also, the longer I wore it, and the more my natural oil came to the surface, the more my makeup looked cakey and gross (but that was to be expected, so I'm not faulting it for that). Thumbs down for the stICKiness factor alone. -

This is some goooooood stuff - almost a dupe for MAC's original Prep + Prime Fix + for a fraction of the price (in my opinion, of course...) It claims to fight humidity and last 12 hours, but that was not the case for me as I have oily skin. However, it really helps to take the edge off the powder that I (unfortunately) have to apply, and it leaves a lovely, weightless, hydrated finish to the skin! Smells like aloe & cucumber - really refreshing. I always stock up when I find it (usually at Walmart). BTW. I also have very sensitive skin, but had no issues whatsoever with this product. -

This is such a great little brush for a very low price ($1 at Dollarama!) Really packs on colour like a charm. Stays intact even after years of washing in hot, soapy water.

The IT Cosmetics CC+ Cream was one of my favourites for daily wear for a number of years, but I admit I have found something I like more these days. I own the Light colour, but it is a bit dark for me so I mix it with a bit of Fair (Illumination formula) for the perfect match. Coverage is pretty good for a CC cream, and it is buildable but it can get a bit cakey as you build it up - at least on me, it can. The finish is quite dewy, so I do have to powder it down a bit, but that's fine with me. It is a great CC cream to take on beach vacations when you want a nice glow and bit of coverage, but not a very 'made up' or matte look. I love that it has SPF 50 in it - wow! The only problem is that it is a bit pricey, so now that I've found something cheaper that I like better, I will probably not buy this again. -

Dandelion, however, really has no colour payoff on my skin and I am quite fair. I do like the packaging and the colour is pretty in the box, but for the price (which is not cheap at all!) it does absolutely nothing as far as I'm concerned. Very disappointing. -

The Degree Women Ultraclear Black + White Pure Rain Dry Spray Antiperspirant is a pleasant-smelling and effective product. I like the locking feature on the spray nozzle, which makes it 'safe' to travel with. Unfortunately, if you inadvertently spray it from too close a distance the product does collect, bead, and fall to the floor, causing a mess (just ensure that you spray it from a distance of at least 6 inches to be safe). However, once applied correctly I felt dry and fresh while carrying on with my busy day. At the end of the day there was no visible residue on any black undergarments, which is a miracle!
I cannot speak to the value of the product as I have not been made aware of suggested retail price; however, I will definitely be trying this product again in the summer with my white t-shirts, as it claims that it is 'anti yellow stains & white marks' - now, THAT would be worth the cost alone!

"A strong yet subtle product with a pleasing fragrance that lasts momentarily making one aware of its presence.
I like the spray rather than gel or stick as it reduces the risk of residue on clothing and clumpiness after application. Application is easy with its accurate nozzle. I also like the locking feature that reduces the risk of wastage during travel.
I used it daily rather than the 48 hour protection it promotes and with no overuse affect.
I would recommend this product based on value and effectiveness with a rating of 9/10."

Unfortunately, I just didn't like this product. From trying to find the 'hidden' directions on the bottle to the splotches of dye left on my face, I was frustrated throughout the whole experience. The application is not very user-friendly. In my case I mostly need coverage around the perimeter of my face (just above the forehead and on the sideburns) which was practically impossible to achieve without ending up looking like a leopard. I will say that I did like the coverage and colour of the product when I sprayed it on the crown of my head - an opaque rich chocolatey brown; however, it was a very matte finish, like a dry shampoo, and I prefer the glossy natural look. Also, I wasn't comfortable wearing this out of the house - it did rub off on my fingers when I touched my hair. I will stick to Root Touch Up by Nice 'n' Easy/Clairol - haven't found anything that beats it yet. [#gotitfree by ChickAdvisor for review] -
