I got the chance to review the blue lizard Australian sunscreen in 50 spf. This mineral sunscreen is safe for sensitive skin while still offering uva and uvb protection. This sunscreen is reef safe so it’s good for us and the reef, this makes me so happy! This sunscreen is water resistant for 80 minutes. I found that this sunscreen applys nicely, and doesn’t leave a greasy film of a white cast. I was able to easily reapply as needed throughout the day. Definitely a fan of this mineral sunscreen, and will be picking up more when I run out. #gotitfree -

I got to try the original Tom’s of Maine aluminum free deodorant, in the scent of rose vanilla. This deodorant has odour and wetness protection while being aluminum free! It’s not tested on animals which is so important! The container it comes in is made of recycled materials, and you can recycle it when you’re done. 10% of their annual profits go to charity definitely a brand I can get behind. The rose vanilla scent is a nice fragrance, that I find last for several hours, while still not being overpowering. For me I find that it works all day, without leaving a residue on your skin or clothing. So happy I got a change to try this awesome product. #got it free -

I got the opportunity to sample the Clean Reserve nectarine petal H2eau perfume. The scent is light, I’d describe it more of a personal perfume. The perfume doesn’t project it’s sent very much, but every time move, I get the delicate fruity and floral scent. If you want everyone around you to smell your perfume, I don’t know if it will be a nice match. But if you love getting a wiff of floral every now and then throughout the day I think you’ll love it. I really love that this perfume is a water based formula, you don’t get the dryness or strong odour you get from an alcohol based one. I found the perfume lasted a good 8 hours rolled directly onto my wrists. I love that it’s fresh and floral, it doesn’t over power or bother the people around you.

I got the opportunity to try the new swimways pickle ball set from spin master. It comes with two regulation sized paddles. These paddles have a good weight and grip, similar to the adult ones I’ve used in the past. They feel pretty good quality. I would be concerned about the use of these wood paddles near water. They say they can be used on the beach, which lead me to believe they mean they can be used near water. This being said, the seal along the edges of the wood does have defects, were water could easily seep into the wood, and cause warping and splitting. I wouldn’t use them near water, so I’d suggest this more as a park or indoor gym toy personally. The print of the paddles is beautiful, and fun! The print is also bright so it will be easily spotted when it’s time to put it away. This set is fun for the whole family, the paddles hit the balls well, and the balls being yellow make them easy to see. The small ball is rather small, I feel like it could get lost easily as it bounces quite well and travels easily. Although the small ball is a soft flexible plastic, the speed it gets when hit could be painful if it hits you. If you’re just starting out I’d suggest starting with the large ball, this is the ball style I’ve used in the past, and I find the holes help it lose speed.
This is a great toy to get the whole family involved and having fun!

I got the chance to try the AMP Advanced Modified Polymer All Weather Window, Door and Siding Sealant in crystal clear, as a free trial. Perfect timing, as we just got a new back door, and now that it’s settled in, and the spray foam trimmed back. It’s time to seal it all up. Perfect time to test the AMP advanced polymer for windows, doors and siding.
This crystal clear polymer sets up enough to paint it in 30 minutes, and is fully cured in 24 hours. It gets pretty sticky when you use it, so I’d suggest setting up your tape lines. This polymer is quite fluid, so go slow and steady, or you might have a mess on your hands. As always, make sure your temperate is right for your polymer, or it won’t set up well. Luckily we’ve had a very mild December and I got it done before it turned cold. This polymer paints up much better than silicones I’ve used in the past, but does glob on and sets up fast. So like I said, slow and steady. If you’re less experienced, like myself, make sure you have some acetone for quick clean up, if you make a mistake.

I love that these are drug free, those acne drugs dry my skin out so much, I don’t have that problem with these. Definitely will be getting more. #gotitfree @thisisbutterly

I also got the opportunity to try the aveeno daily moisturizer cleanser. It comes in a great pump bottle, for was of use. It also comes in a refill to reduce plastic waste. The cleanser comes out clear, and the foams up almost immediately when you start washing you face. My face felt nice and clean, but didn’t get that tight dry feeling that you get from some other cleansers. It comes in a very large bottle, and you need to use so little, it’ll last you over a month. I’m so excited to have this line going into winter, as both the cleanser and lotion both have moisturizing qualities. Thank you aveeno for keeping my skin, soft and happy all winter long! -

I got the opportunity to try the aveeno daily moisturizing face cream. It’s fragrance free, and almost has no scent at all (because we all know some fragrance free things still have strong scents). It’s super moisturizing and soothing. This is going to be my go to face cream for winter. It gets so cold and dry here 🥶, you skin screams for moisture. This will definitely fix your dry skin right up. It’s nice and thin, so it rubs in without effort. It’s such a lovely lotion. -

I got to try these NOMA Advanced Evertough Christmas Lights, 70 LED Lights, in Multi-colour. They are great little lights, with just enough brightness, without being too bright to look at and enjoy. They come with a female end too and an extra string or two, but can also be used on their own. As it’s not very cold here yet, I threw them in the freezer for a few minutes, and the cord definitely is still flexible when cold, so they should hold up to our cold winters if you choose to use them outside. But they can also be used inside to add a little pop of colour and light. I’m sure these would even look great on a Christmas tree. The colours do pull a bit more cool than ones I’ve used in the past, so the purple bulb looks a bit more pink, but there’s nothing wrong with that. I think these would look great on a tree, or hedge for winter, but might be a bit small if you chose them for your roof trim. Overall they seem great, and I think they will hold up well! They look beautiful around my front window! -
