I absolutely love MAC's line of eye shadows. I have only been disappointed once or twice, and with the number of eye shadows from them that I have, that's still a good thing. Most of MAC's eyeshadows are deliciously pigmented, and so very blendable. My favorite finish is the Veluxe Pearl--so soft, and also nice duochromes or metallics or shimmers. MAC's Matte2 line is also very nice--matte shades that pack a LOT of color payoff is great in my book! The shadows are priced relatively moderately, and are priced lower than most brands that some consider mid- to high-end. I will be forever faithful to MAC for their eyeshadows! :) -

This is my holy-grail blush for sure! I picked it up in Wal-Mart, figuring I'd just give it a try. OH. MY. GAWD. This stuff is so amazing! I've tried it out using lots of different brushes--the MAC 109, the MAC 187, or a kabuki brush, and it works well with all of them! This is a very sheer blush with buildable color. If you want a more dramatic look, then you can even apply it wet! I'm loving it. The way it looks and the way it's packaged reminds me of something from MAC's Mineralize line. The packaging is gorgeous and definitely eye-catching! This stuff is amazing and lasts all day.
PROS:

- easy to apply
- GORGEOUS bubblegum pink color
- can be used wet or dry
CONS:
- can be a bit too sheer sometimes
- packaging sometimes hard to open

PROS:
- Super refreshing tingle
- Rinses off dirt and makeup
- Feels like it cleans deep
- Rinses off easily
CONS:
- The smell can be a bit overpowering at times
- Can often be sold out in stores--very popular!

I bought this makeup first because it was so CHEAP! It was under five dollars--definitely worth looking at! Second, I hadn't tried many foundations and wasn't looking for a crazy full-coverage foundation look. I wanted to get into foundation easily, and this was the way to do it. This is a rather light formula that's made mostly of water. It feels cooling to the skin and leaves more of a natural finish. It isn't dewy, but it isn't matte either.
PROS:
- so cheap!
- easy to apply
- light to medium coverage
- non-harsh formula
- has some SPF
CONS:
- oxidizes easily (can turn orange)
- sometimes looks too dewy
- can make me look sweaty
- doesn't last all day--more like a couple hours at most.

This mascara promises to do six things: lengthen, strengthen, curl, separate, brighten, and thicken. For the price, I was hoping that it would wash the dishes after dinner, too! This is of course a higher-end mascara, and with it comes the higher-end price. Beyond that, this mascara works wonders. For me, it did all of the things it promised, without clumping, flaking, or smudging. The brush is one of those newer plastic flexi-brushes, so I was afraid that it wouldn't coat my lashes evenly enough. Surprisingly, the brush is strong and coated my lashes evenly. My lashes looked like they were FAKE, they were so amazing. Also, it dried to such a soft finish! My lashes didn't feel hard, brittle, and spiky like they usually did with every other mascara. It was soft and lovely.
PROS:
- does what it promises to do
- keeps lashes so soft
- doesn't clump
- doesn't smudge
- brush is easy to use
CONS:
- doesn't darken my lashes a ton
- has a slight smell that I don't like.

I purchased this after hearing about it from a friend that always had dramatic, huge, dark lashes. I figured I'd give it a try, and it was relatively cheap (even as drugstore mascaras go), so why not? The first thing I noticed was how inky black the formula was. It didn't have a weird smell or anything, so that was good. It was a very dark black. When I put it on my lashes, WOW! I was amazed. It made my short lashes look full and DARK! It also had some lengthening and defining properties for me. I love this mascara.

-makes lashes look more voluminous
-defines lashes
-makes my lashes look longer
-very buildable
CONS:
-a bit difficult to remove
